The SCOAN not Merely a Growing Tourist Destination

The SCOAN

It is true that in recent years Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria has attracted to his ministry Christian pilgrimage and tourist from around the world. The prophet has been unintentionally working on this, a global image he now has, within the last three decades. Nevertheless, he has been working with the less to do, the high and the low in the society, running international crusades, conducting weekly prophecy, healing, deliverance, etc. Hence under 30 years of his ministry, TB Joshua has become a major world-class Prophet of all time.

The main question and our concern are knowing which ministry best represents “Jesus Christ’s Expectation of Faith”. We all need to know what Jesus expects to find at His return. The apostles Jesus trained, left to continue His works after His ascension became our reference point, especially after they were baptized by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ represented and performed three functions in His earthly ministry. He was the Prophet (Deuteronomy 18:14-22), the Priest (Psalm 110:1-4), and the King (Psalm 2). He raised disciples who would become “Fishers of men”, people who could draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is not just the weekly crowds and the economic benefits to the local environment that are most paramount.

Our proper personal response in our relationship with Christ Jesus is what Paul calls “the obedience of faith” (Romans 1:5, 16:26), or which SCOAN always encourages to new converts as “making the Word a standard for life”. The Life and Teachings of Jesus Christ, the oral tradition of the early apostles, and the written Word, now become our essence. The community is interested in the crowds but within the teaching of SCOAN is the full Gospel of Jesus Christ in His ramifications.

The result of the work of Prophet TB Joshua and SCOAN, aired by Emmanuel TV, will become more visible when the disciples raised by this prophet move out to every corner of the globe preaching Christ and living in His obedience and holiness. In the world today we have academic preaching, Schools of Divinity where deep knowledge of Jesus Christ’s history and work are learned and taught. But (Acts 4:13) now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Being with Jesus in His teaching, living, preaching, and love is what we seem to be seeing in SCOAN. Hence those coming to see prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN are encouraged to come expecting to meet Jesus Who will use His prophets to meet their needs. Of course, SCOAN is a growing Christian tourist destination and shall remain so many years ahead.

Exclusive: Inside the Synagogue, Church of All Nations — one of Nigeria’s biggest tourist attractions

The SCOAN

Nigeria is home to a couple of megachurches that have evolved into self-contained cities, providing services like electricity, water, accommodation and good roads to members and visitors.

One of such religious organisations is The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) which is regarded as the most visited destination by religious tourists in West Africa.

The Maravi Post got a chance to visit this global pentecostal denomination and found a bakery, automobile service area, 5-star restaurants, lodges and even a makeshift zoo.

“Good morning” is the first thing I hear as soon as I get to the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, Nigeria. It is founded by Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua.

I was there on a special invitation from the church to appreciate what God is doing to his children across the global through the healing power of Prophet TB Joshua

It is ranked 11th out of the 97 tourist attractions in Lagos state on the popular travel platform.

I hear this greeting again as I step into the waiting area where I spot a television airing a service on Emmanuel TV, a Christian television station founded by the general overseer commonly known as Prophet T.B. Joshua. It has over 1,000,000 YouTube subscribers.

Hearing this for the second time piqued my curiosity since it was clearly afternoon, no longer morning, by the time I get there. I turned to ask a member of the church who says that this phrase is used regardless of the time of the day. “We greet according to the promises of God,” he explains.

This ‘prophetic greeting’ is based on Psalm 30:5 — “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” (KJV)

A day inside this popular megachurch

I’m still mulling over this interesting greeting when I’m led inside by someone in the media department. Outside the church looks pretty amazing but inside leaves me awestruck. SCOAN is built with impressive stones, wood and beautiful stained glass windows. It also has a beautifully lit fountain behind the altar and portrayals of the last supper.

SCOAN is so huge, it looks like something from a game or movie set. Reportedly, a Sunday service attracts a minimum of 150,000 attendees every week and the building (empty at the time except for a few staff) looks capable of sitting this many people.

I’m taken upstairs to the media room then downstairs to the church-owned printing press. SCOAN publishes its pamphlets and books including the four written by T.B Joshua. It also has a supermarket close by.

The second part of the tour begins when I’m taken outside to the other side of the road. This part is outside of the main church but it still belongs to SCOAN. Here, you have the bakery, medical section, a gym, 10 ambulances in the automobile service area, two kinds of accommodation — one for average guests while the high end, complete with an elevator, is reserved for important guests like celebrities, ministers and even presidents.

This section also has an area for the children and a zoo with dogs and a couple of exotic birds. I’m told that the Man of God likes to spend time here. As I’m led out of the compound, I notice a couple of tents. My guide tells me that this is the overflow reserved for the thousands who are unable to sit in the main church.

According to the Nigerian Immigration Service, six out of every ten foreign travellers coming into Nigeria are bound for the SCOAN. Reportedly, the church attracts more weekly attendees than the combined number of visitors to Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London.

“About two million local and inbound tourists” visit The SCOAN annually, The Guardian reported a few years ago. They all flock to the church to see the Man of God who has made a name for himself with his prophecies and by ‘healing’ everything from Cancer to AIDS.

He appears rather humble, almost shy as he takes my hand and introduces himself. We exchange a few words before I’m led away by the guide who proudly tells me about how down to earth his Man of God is. My tour comes to an end when I’m taken to one of the church’s 5-star restaurants. Here, I notice once again that all the TVs are only showing services from the Emmanual network. I wait here until my ride comes.

The Prophet TB Joshua effect

The SCOAN founder came out of nowhere and slowly turned his small ministry into a mega-church with its own self-contained city run on funds from his members and people who believe in him.

SCOAN has had a strong effect on the surrounding area. All the parts leading to the church have people selling life-sized portraits of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Hotels, restaurants and other establishments around the area also enjoy business from the thousands that flock the church every other week.

This explains why many stakeholders in the tourism sector fought against Prophet T.B Joshua’s proposed relocation to Isreal in 2017 arguing that Nigeria would lose billions of naira.

Mrs Ime Udo, the Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NANTA) told pressmen that “Religious practices both under the auspices of Christianity, Islam and traditional practices have in no small way contributed to the development of tourism in the world.

“The local community; hotel operators, food vendors and others around SCOAN must have benefitted from tourists. SCOAN has, no doubt, contributed immensely to the tourism profile of Nigeria with several heads of government from various African countries that had visited there to seek spiritual restoration and advise from Pastor TB Joshua.”

Commenting on the relocation rumors, a hotel operator named Anthonia Chuks, told the press that it would have a negative effect on the hospitality business in that area and the state.

“Ninety–five per cent of guests that lodge in hotels in the community are international and local visitors outside Lagos and they are SCOAN members. We have over 130 rooms and are always fully booked every weekend. We usually enjoy huge patronage from Fridays to Sundays weekly; and they are mostly SCOAN members from near and far,” she explained. The preacher has remained in the country.

Over the years, the Man of God has become one of the wealthiest preachers in Africa with an estimated net worth of $10 million — $15 million according to Forbes.

Apart from his ministry, he is well known for giving over $20 million to several causes in education, healthcare and rehabilitation programs for former Niger Delta militants. Since he has no known business, it is safe to assume that this comes from his ministry, which is tax-exempt in Nigeria because of its charity status.

To critics who say these big churches should be taxed, pastors argue that the charity work done should exempt them.

Prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN is Evangelising the World

tb joshua, scoan, emmanuel tv
Prophet TB Joshua

The man of God in the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria needs no much introduction. He is a leading teacher of people, a prophet that is changing our perception the right way on prayers and evangelism. Every week thousands of people across the globe come to hear him and to be healed or to be delivered. They go back to their different countries and communities telling how good Nigeria is and how desirable it is to visit the Prophet in the SCOAN.

In the world today, over 50% of the world population has not been reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in some places in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. They are pursuing different kinds of religions. China, India, and all Arabs are amongst the major countries where few or none have heard about Christ.

The recent effort of SCOAN and Emmanuel TV to hold crusades in many countries has the potential of reaching the non-evangelised world populations. The problem getting to these groups is made more complex by their respective domestic governments, many of whom placed an embargo on the Word (Bible) circulation. This is where SCOAN’s evangelical approach is very crucial and significant.

Prophet TB Joshua’s continuous teaching on “I believe help my unbelief” is also appropriate at this time. Many are wondering why their ministries are not as effective in so many aspects like healing, miracles, or the others like seen always in SCOAN.

His teaching has helped a number of us on how to pray, and what to pray for. We recall that in seeking the Lord’s help, a man came to Jesus once, fell to his knees weeping, and said, “I believe; help my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). The man’s request, startling in its paradoxical phrasing, is quite thought-provoking. How can a man say he believes and at the same time asks for help in overcoming unbelief? Jesus had just returned from the mount of transfiguration when He came upon a large crowd surrounding His disciples. An argument was taking place, and people were stirred up. Jesus asked what was going on, and a man from the crowd explained that the disciples had been trying to cast a demon out of his son but had failed in their attempt.

Many individuals and congregations have been trying on their own but have no success story big as we have in SCOAN. Remember too that our prayer is that Prophet TB Joshua will still have more anointing to do more exploit for Jesus, despite the mighty work we are already witnessing. Yes, we pray for more anointing on him and every member of his team. Nevertheless, Emmanuel TV and partners must daily work for improvement, especially to circumvent systemic government efforts from blocking the Gospel of Jesus Christ getting to every corner of the globe.

Video – Another woman sees Jesus inside T.B. Joshua’s church

I can see Jesus

Another Nigerian lady has sensationally claimed “seing Jesus Christ” during a service at Prophet T.B. Joshua’s the Synagogue church in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, Nigeria. The woman says Jesus is the most handsome Man she has ever seen.

In a clip published by Emmanuel TV’s YouTube channel, Chelsea Oghene Tega from Delta State is seen amidst congregants collecting ‘living water’ when she suddenly points her finger towards the ‘church altar’ and starts wildly gesticulating and shouting.

“I saw a man in a white robe with smoke. There was smoke everywhere from His feet,” she vividly described when pressed with questions. “The glory was too much; I could not even look.”

Testifying in a subsequent service, Tega explains with greater clarity about the ‘open vision’ she saw.

She admitted she was skeptical of Christianity and specifically critical of TB Joshua’s ministry and television network Emmanuel TV.

“I was fed up with churches. I felt all they would do is ask you to bring offerings and tithes – so I got upset with them,” Chelsea explained, adding she watched Emmanuel TV intermittently but never ‘believed’ in the miracles she saw.

According to Tega, she was heading to a market in Lagos when she saw the huge crowd of people amassing outside The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) for the Friday ‘Living Water Service’.

“My cousin had really pressed me that I must come to The SCOAN – since I was in Lagos – to get ‘the water’ for my elder brother who was sick,” she explained.

Her interest sufficiently piqued by the crowd – coupled with the request of her cousin – Chelsea resolved to join the mammoth queue to enter the service.

“I just wanted to enter and see this Synagogue I had been watching on TV,” she surmised, adding she still harboured doubts at that moment.

Eventually entering the service, the young lady described her subsequent encounter as “beyond human comprehension”.

“As soon as I got the water, I felt a force hold my leg. I couldn’t move. It then became cloudy as if it wanted to rain. I saw some angelic beings coming like diamonds – glittering, sparkling. I then saw a Man coming out with smoke. He was just rising, growing big. Then, the people I first saw come out were all bowing down, worshiping Him,” she graphically recounted.

According to Chelsea, the ‘Man’ said, “Do you now believe? I am the Living Water; anyone who comes to Me will never thirst again.”

She described His appearance as “the most handsome Man I ever saw”, adding He was adorned with a crown and “glittering regalia”. “It was too bright. I wasn’t seeing them on the ground,” she added.

Concluding, Chelsea admitted her perception of The SCOAN had radically shifted in the light of her ‘encounter’.

“God is here! God is in this place because what I saw was not just angels; Jesus came Himself. He was here. He showed Himself to me so I would trust and believe in Him,” she asserted.

“Everything I had been watching on Emmanuel TV – it’s true, it’s real. I doubted but God had to reveal Himself to me,” she concluded.

T.B Joshua: A permanent fixture in the Lord’s vineyard

tb joshua, scoanSince the early 90s when Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly called T.B Joshua’ s fame was on the ascendancy, he had always been trailed by one controversy or the other, but like a Phoenix that regenerates from ashes, he had always come out of those controversies, stronger. Not really for one day did his popularity waned. I recall that in those early days, one of the major issues that confronted the Prophet in the Synagogue was his source of power. The speculation then was he had some extraneous powers that had aided him in all the miracles that the church was known.

Indeed, some even whispered to those who cared to listen that T.B Joshua could never be heard calling the name, Jesus, thus confirming the fact that he had other powers behind him rather than that of the Almighty creator of the heavens and the Earth. To feed these speculations, it was said he had a place in the marshland of Egbe where even angels fear to trod. The marshland, incidentally, was where the ministry took off, a story of a humble beginning. That lie fizzled out because it had nothing to feed on. It died like others before it.

The story also came up that T. B Joshua got his powers from India and some ancient Asian countries. That also fell flat as one wondered why those who gave him the power could not wrought those miracles in their country or the source from where the power came from. The story went on and on because his was a phenomenon that defied human explanation.

I recall that as a cub journalist, my first contact with him and the Synagogue was borne out of fear which later turned out unfounded. At one of our Editorial meetings, a colleague who lived around the same axis as the church’s location had arrived the office breathless that Monday afternoon. He had a story to tell. On the way to work, he had sighted a horde of policemen around the church and was not sure what they were up to. The Editor had queried why he did not stop to find out and do a report. His response was indicative of the unfounded rumour that surrounded the Synagogue at the time. He told all of us in the Editor’s office that he could not do the report because of the unpalatable stories he had heard; that anyone that did a report on T.B Joshua would develop mental illness and probably end up a patient of “Yaba on the left’ or a tenant of a similar enclave in Aro, Abeokuta. Of course he could not substantiate what he said, he was only adamant on one point – no amount of persuasion would take him to the church to do the report.

Whether due to foolhardiness, ignorance or courage, yours truly decided to take up the challenge. After several visits to the church a very comprehensive report about the church and the man in the church was done. After the publication, I have never had cause to visit a psychiatric hospital.

But the Society was not done with T.B Joshua. The ‘war’ came from the Christian fold, most of the men of God forgot the teaching of the Bible, they judged, forgetting judgement is the Almighty’s. They more or less ostracised T.B Joshua. But he seemed to thrive on such adversities. The church that the ‘blind’ seers predicted would soon fold or would not last is still waxing stronger almost three decades after their carnally -inspired predictions.

Today, if you are talking religious tourism, the name that readily comes to mind is T.B Joshua’s and the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Ikotun-Egbe, Nigeria. The church can be described as the biggest religious tourism destination in the whole of the African continent today. The Nigeria Immigration Services (NIS) said six out of every 10 foreign travellers coming into Nigeria are Synagogue bound. The popularity of the church has led to more flights coming into Lagos from within and outside the country. Domestic visitors to the church come from far-flung places knowing they were bound for the solution to whatever problems they came to present. In and around the church location, businesses have also sprung up, thus empowering more local businesses and their owners. There are hotels around for those who are not Lagos residents. Restaurants and stores are equally making brisk businesses.

His teaching and preaching is not only feed for the soul, the physical is equally fed. Philanthropic gestures in places like Haiti after a devastating earthquake, Indonesian poor and the downtrodden, Mexico and Colombia are among the countries that have felt his touch of philanthropy. Nations have honoured him. In Israel, he is a spectacle who is accorded, symbolically, the donkey ride into Jerusalem. The red carpet is ever laid for him during any of his visits. He had even been urged to establish a religious presence in that country with land already available for that purpose. During his visit to Dominican Republic in 2017, he was accorded the royalty treatment. He was met at the Las Americas airport by the leadership of that country. It was a carnival like atmosphere. By the time he ended his crusade about three days later, Dominica stood still. And to appreciate him, he was honoured with the highest award in that country by the parliament.

Consequently, the accolades in the last 30 years, from a humble beginning to the present growth, spreading the gospel and providing succour in all corners of the World, have made something poignantly clear, T.B Joshua is a permanent fixture in the Lord’s vineyard. He can never be wished away.

THE SCOAN LIVING WATER SERVICE: THE TRUE LIVING GOD IN ACTION

The greatest trick the devil is pulling lately is to convince the world that Jesus Christ in the person of the Holy Ghost does not exist that is, He is not alive. The devil doesn’t want us to know that there is an incredible power of God in action and the awesome benefits of God which people are experiencing in the Synagogue Church of All Nation’s Mountain of prayer. Another thing very high on the list of things the devil doesn’t want you to know is that; he will try to make you doubt such things which are Biblically authentic.

But today, Prophet TB Joshua through the power of God has continually proven beyond any reasonable doubt that Jesus is alive, and He is the Son of the Living God. The good thing about this is that God himself has decided to open the eyes of the few visitors during the mountain of prayer service, for them to see the Heavenly Being operating in the mountain of prayer.

Satan and his demons have been trying, by all means, to deceive people in believing that Prophet TB Joshua is an evil man and as such they lack the capacity to ponder the truth of God’s word, which says that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and for those who trust in Christ, the strategy of the enemy is to confuse, frustrate, discourage and even steal the truth of God that has been already deposited in their lives, and ultimately attempt to mar the image of the SCOAN as well as that of Prophet TB Joshua. In this regard, the enemy construct a spiritual stronghold in the hearts of both believers and unbelievers

Often time, it starts with bad experience, offence or an evil attack or hurt by the enemy himself which lead to their heart becoming a fertile ground for the planting of seeds of lies and on this foundation, the enemy begins to build slowly but surely, a wall of deception, lies, wrong ideas about SCOAN and Prophet TB Joshua. The enemy goes on and feeds them with erroneous and distorted information about the Church activities like deliverance and healing. Unfortunately, immature Christians usually buy into these lies and agree with the enemy, thereby gaining control of their hearts in such a way that they end up defending lies and not the kingdom of God. Their perception is distorted in a way that they are unable to differentiate between lies and truth.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says, “The god of this age [a reference to Satan and his demons] has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” Satan strategy in the lives of those who haven’t trusted in Christ, is to make sure that they remain in the dark so that they can say what is happening in the mountain of prayer is fake and as such, they will never go there and experience the presence of God.

Be that as it may, it is a fact, which, unfortunately, cannot be denied; that some of God’s people are his worst enemies. By their coarse and wretched lives, they drive away many from the truth even before they have the opportunity to see the miracles of God. But thanks to Emanuel TV, YouTube and other platforms; unbelievers are starting to see the truth. That is why on 27th September 2019 history has been made when we saw more than hundred thousand of Nigerians from different churches in Nigeria as well as other Christians from around the world flocking to SCOAN for a free mountain of prayer service. As usual, this has disturbed TB Joshua’s critics and persecutors. We feel sorry for them, May God forgive them

Interestingly, there are some people today who are still refusing to go for healing and deliverance at the SCOAN, simply because their thoughts have been distorted. They call themselves Christians but on the other hand, they suffer from spiritual poverty and as such deny themselves God’s blessings which are freely available in SCOAN’ mountain of prayer.

They behave like a man who was trapped in the fire but refusing any assistance sent to him, saying that he is waiting for God to come and rescue Him until the whole house is engulfed by fire. He burnt to death and when he reached heaven, he asked God, “Lord, why did you not save me? I believed you with all my heart. God responded, “I sent you all the necessary help and you refused them all. What else could I possibly have done for you?” Like it or not, Prophet TB Joshua is a true servant of God sent to us and to deny the power of the Holy Spirit operating in the mountain of prayer is to deny Christ. What I am trying to say is that; God has outwardly done His part by blessing us with the prophet of our days but yet we refused to partake from the promises of God, which God has laid before us in the presence of our enemies. The question is; why do people decide to settle for darkness, destruction while the healing, deliverance and blessing of God are on the table for free?

Brothers and sisters, I want you to know that Almighty God has blessed Prophet TB Joshua with an elevated platform so that he can be a help for those unspoken for and the oppressed. He has been divinely empowered for the advancements of the kingdom of God because our God is a God of nations and will often raise individuals to intercede on behalf of the greater masses, who are in bondage. Prophet TB Joshua has been blessed so that He can become a blessing to others. He has been granted a platform with a greater blessing so that he can be in a position to speak for those whose voices cannot be heard, the oppressed, and the captives and no one can change that

In (Genesis 12:3) it is written that “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Those who believe in the God of Prophet TB Joshua will be the ultimate beneficiary of God’s blessings. In other words, it’s not about Prophet TB Joshua and his family, but it is about the neighbours that Jesus said we must love, the needy, orphans, the poor and everyone else. That is why Prophet TB Joshua does not take credit on the works of God; he is not even present in the mountain of prayer. He is also going to the mountain of prayer for his blessings. Do yourself a favour and honour the invitation of God, don’t reject God’s grace. Those who reject the grace of God have been warned In Numbers 14:11, when the Lord asks Moses, “How long will these people spurn Me? And how long will they not believe in Me, despite all the signs which I have performed in their midst?”

The chapter shows that people who repeatedly reject God’s grace may cross the line of no return. God is gracious and patient, but at some point, His judgment will fall on those who persist in unbelief. A person may repeatedly turn his heart away from the good news of Jesus Christ until he reaches a point where he is hardened beyond remedy. Proverbs 29:1 warns, “A man who hardens his neck after much reproof Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy. “Healing, deliverance and blessing are available in SCOAN, and only those who don’t harden their hearts will benefit

God’s promise of salvation for everyone is for Him to be glorified among the nations. The problem with the people of the world, like the Israelites, is that that they do not believe in the Lord and His promise to give them the land of Canaan (Num. 13:2; 14:11). They do not see that, God ‘want to deliver them from the bondage of satan for the salvation of their souls.

Let me remind you that there are temporal and eternal consequences for those who reject God’s salvation. In Heb. 3:12: it is written that “Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.” Apostle Paul telling us that like everyone else you may be going through some difficult trials and tribulations, but this should not be your reason for not believing in God’s miracle, because this would indicate that you have an evil, unbelieving heart and to turn from Christ back to the world would be to fall away from the living God! If you do that, you will not enjoy the many blessings of knowing Christ in this life.

But today, some people called themselves Christian and yet don’t believe in the miracles He performs. Outwardly, they profess to be obeying God but inwardly rejecting him, contradicting indeed. They stand in their high places and criticise Prophet TB Joshua and yet the Prophet is not the one touching people in the mountain of prayer. They allow themselves to be misled and attempt to save themselves by trusting in themselves and their leaders and this is the main reason they will miss God’s offer of free grace through Jesus Christ.

The Bible is clear that God will bless those who trust His promises and follow Him fully. Jesus is talking to the world, he is using Prophet TB Joshua to show us that He is a living God, a miracle-working God and those who believe in Him will be saved. According to Apostle John, Thomas was not present on Easter Sunday evening when Jesus appeared to the other disciples and devoted followers (John 20:24). And regardless of what they said, Thomas refused to believe that Jesus had risen till he saw Jesus with his own eyes (John 20:25) — a declaration that earned him for posterity the unflattering title “Doubting Thomas.” Thomas’s doubts may have been humanly understandable, but they were not commendable. They were sinful, as is all unbelief (Romans 14:23). Finally, a full week after Easter, Jesus appeared when Thomas was present and said, “Put your finger here and see my hands, and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” (John 20:27). Thomas’s repented and said, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Then in John 20:29) Jesus said: “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” (John 20:29).

Children of God, here Jesus’ is telling us that others had not yet seen Him, but still believed in his resurrection and as such their believing was more blessed. This means that those who rely on their eyes of faith more than the physical eyes will receive the promised blessing of God. Glorious, inexpressible joy comes not by seeing Jesus now, but by believing in him now. You don’t have to see Jesus in person in the mountain of prayer for you to believe, just believe in his presence in the mountain of prayer and you will experience his touch. Even if you are watching on Emmanuel tv, connect with faith and He will touch you

Like the woman who testified on Sunday, 29th Sept 2019, she has confessed that she never believes in what is happening at SCOAN. According to her, everything is arranged and as such fake. But because we serve a God of grace, the Holy Spirit arrested her and led her to the mountain of prayer where she experiences the unexplainable, indescribable encounter with Jesus himself. He always did for the others, Jesus forgave her unbelieve and graciously restored her. Jesus used her unbelief, to reveal to her who is behind the miracles in the mountain of prayer. Jesus made her a gracious example for all of us who suffer from spiritual poverty and use the physical eyes to see instead of eyes of faith. So If you find that you are spiritually blind, I mean; your seeing of Jesus is impaired, Thomas is teaching you not to declare, “Unless I see I will never believe,” but rather say, “I believe; help my unbelief” (Mark 9:24).

My friends, without an accurate knowledge of who Christ is, you just are not going to be drawn to him. The study of “Christian evidence” is one of the crying needs of our time. There is a lot of evidence of Jesus’, healing and deliverance in SCOAN. Those who turn from the truth of God, or reject the Holy Spirit as a source of power and love in their lives, have denied Christ. All Christians must study their Bibles to learn what Christ taught and then to put it to practice in their lives. So please, if you do not know the spirit powering a person, do not open your mouth to rebel because you might be rebelling against God who you falsely claim to be worshipping. Reject the lies that the enemy has planted in your heart and trust in God

Lastly, I want to encourage you, beloved brothers and sisters in Jesus name to visit the SCOAN and freely experience the presence of God in the mountain of prayer. I repeat, IT IS FOR FREE, NO REGISTRATION FEE, you just need a free heart, a hear free of unforgiveness, pain of the past, without grudges, that is a repentant heart and I am sure that God’s mercy will shine through to give hope to all of you; who will respond in faith. I am a witness and I know who is operating in that mountain, Jesus Christ of Nazareth and his Cherubim’s and Seraphim’s. Remain blessed.
