The SCOAN is continually on an Ongoing Fight Against Satan

Prophet TB Joshua

The team of prophets, evangelists, singers and even the congregation in the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria, under the leadership of Prophet TB Joshua can be classified generally as a wonderful group of people filled with the Holy Spirit. This is globally one of the best congregations of our time. However, the entire SCOAN team has a unique mission of “Waging a Continually Fight Against Satan”. Whilst most of us don’t like to fight with the devil or avoiding any confrontation with him, probably because of it’s a supernatural and demonic being, SCOAN people do. Unfortunately, Satan is an evil intruder and he comes like a roaring lion looking for you. He does not fight fairly, and he does not wait for an invitation. Prophet TB Joshua says Satan doesn’t hesitate to attack hence we should waste no time in casting all our everyday cares on God the Supreme Being. Even at this COVID-19 pandemic, with lockdown in congregational worship and gathering, SCOAN is unrelenting fighting Satan back whether Satan is close by or at a great distance. They coin it as “Distance is not a barrier for the move of God”. It is an awesome programme to be part of and to follow. Thanks to the Holy Spirit, some technology that assists them and the dedication of the team in SCOAN. As far as the congregation in SCOAN is concerned COVID-19 is a defeated foe and Satan knows it.

On our part, we need to emulate SCOAN and stand up on our two feet and fight Satan back for every battle. The Bible is the perfect tool for recognizing and fighting the demonic attacks, generational curses, and strongholds that come against us. Be it COVID-19, an economic pandemic that will set in as a result of lockdown, job losses, deaths of loved ones, or even because of our weaknesses. It is necessary to recognize Satan’s fingerprints all over the places in our lives. Satan always tries to undermine our relationship with God. But James 4:7 says “…Resist the devil and he will flee from you”. How do we resist such a supernatural roaring lion? Ephesians 6:11-18 is very good to read. It says, “Put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles (and the cunnings, tricks, intrigues, etcetera) of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. . .”

Every moment, especially in this perilous time, it is necessary to protect ourselves, our friends, and our family from the devil’s attack and overcome Satan with the power of the Holy Spirit. We should by no means give way to him, by indulging any sin or yielding to any temptation, but oppose him, and stand against his wiles, his cunning and his power. We must have unshakable Faith and Trust in God and His Word. What difficulties will not our firm belief in God’s wisdom, power, and goodness get us over? Then be humble under His hand. Casting all your care; personal cares, family cares, cares for the present, and cares for the future, for yourselves, for others, for the church, on God. Only faith can give that steadfastness – faith in Christ, the one Foundation, the Rock on which the Christian’s house is built. We shall not take Satan’s guff anymore. It is in our power to stand up and fight back, in Jesus’ mighty name. Emmanuel

The Effectual Working of the Power of God in SCOAN

tb joshua, scoanOne of the cardinal ministries of Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and turning any man from being a hater of God into one who loves and obeys God. The things of God are foolishness to the natural man. Turning everyone into a new man who delights in God’s ways, who daily enjoy living and walking with God becomes a ministry. According to the Apostle Paul, there is only one answer to be able to do that. It is the “effectual working” of the power of God. “Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power”, (Ephesians 3:7).

The life of Apostle Paul himself was a testimony of this power of God. Had he been left to himself he would still have been the persecuting and blaspheming Pharisee. Saul turned Apostle Paul, must have heard about the preaching of Christ, the preaching of Stephen and he knew all that Christians claimed. But he hated the good news. He saw nothing in it except blasphemy and to persecute the way of Christ. It’s no surprise today that persecution comes to anyone that tries to preach Christ genuinely. But what eventually happened to this man Saul of Tarsus? Again there is only one answer.  He had been made a new man when he met Jesus. He had been regenerated, born again, became a new creation. This was the result of the effectual working of the power of God that we covet for all God’s missions today.

Without the effectual working of the power of God in any ministry no one can make anyone a Christian. A Christian means one who has had a rebirth, a regeneration. It is not the result of our decision only, it is not something that you and I decide to do. It is the effectual working of His power. Paul would never have been a Christian at all were it not for this power. But even after becoming a Christian, he would have been ineffective apart from this same power.

It is this same working power of God that is transforming people and Nations and preached in SCOAN. Prophet TB Joshua has been called into the ministry and given the gifts of the spirit that are requisite to the ministry. This is why he has an understanding of the truth, the power to speak, the power to teach and the power to do miracles. It is the promise of God that, “… you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”, (Acts 1:8).

Hence every Christian must work together in one unit under this power of God, especially here in the SCOAN. Praying in one accord, waiting on the promise of God’s power to be released on the Church for more exploits becomes our mission. Prophet TB Joshua teaches that we let Jesus Christ form Himself in us. In other words, submitting self absolutely to the Holy Spirit and being led by revelation daily.

Prophet TB Joshua has lived, served, loved and struggled for the church for his entire life. Therefore the challenges facing the Church of Christ in the 21st century should be dear to him to take on a responsibility of guarding the flock and caring for the Church of God (Acts 20:28), the more. The Church has drifted far from the Bible. In fact, Bible illiteracy is a major challenge whereby many people pay lip service to the importance of the Bible. People may not read it, know it or believe it. Others using it to teach may doubt its power. Instead, they live on phrases like “heaven helps those who help themselves”, and on many carnal phrases not found in the Bible. Another challenge is that Christians are disconnected from one another, preferring to run as individual, denominations, and as sects.  Whereas Christians ought to be people of presence, connected to God and to one another through the inhabiting, unifying power of the Holy Spirit. The church must position itself as presenters of God’s presence in the world by raising a new generation of Church leaders based on the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

Unfortunately, capitalism has fully infiltrated the Church as another challenge to the extent that “church shopping” and “what I got from the sermon” are things we say without thinking anything of it. People go to Sunday services to “get something.” They choose churches that “fit them” and match their checklist of preferences and their circumstances. Churches are homogeneous, consisting respectively people of like minds. But churches must challenge rather than cater to this mentality. The church is a place where heterogeneous members of a body come together for purposes beyond themselves. It’s an invitation to join Christ in what He is already doing in the world, not an invitation for Christ to affirm our self-actualization. Of course, SCOAN is a peculiar Church whereby many are encouraged to come for special services. Nonetheless improved and healed Christians must return and be more effective in their respective homes and in their local churches as a testimony of their encounter with Jesus. Every challenge facing the Church of Christ is an opportunity for higher anointing in Christ Jesus. Emmanuel.

Egypt – Ethiopia Tension: It Is Time For TB Joshua To Get Involve

The colossal dam that’s being constructed by the Ethiopians has continued to generate tension between them and their Egyptian and Sudanese neighbours. Which many fear could lead to war.

The leadership of Ethiopia says that the dam will offer a critical opportunity to pull millions of her nearly 110 million citizens out of poverty. The project is said to be the centrepiece of Ethiopia’s bid to become Africa’s biggest power exporter.

The dam will be filled from waters from the Blue Nile, but the Egyptians have expressed their concern over the dam’s construction and the filling of the dam with the water from the Nile, arguing that it will reduce its legitimate share of Nile river water access and threaten its water security.

Sudan on their part stands to benefit from the project through access to cheap electricity and reduced flooding, but it has also raised fears over the dam’s operation.

The US President Donald Trump had invited Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia to start negotiations in Washington over the $4.6bn Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), following years of unsuccessful negotiations between the three countries. Unfortunately, they still could not come to a common ground.

Egypt has warned Ethiopia not to start filling the GERD under any circumstances, but the latest information coming out is that Ethiopia has started filling the dam. This move by Ethiopia comes as the latest round of talks between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia on the contentious dam ended with no agreement.

As the Prophet will say “Let us look beyond our palace for God’s authority. With God, all things are possible!”

Since the world government and their institutions cannot handle this issue, it is time for all parties involved to seek the help of God through the instrumentality of the Prophet T.B Joshua for a lasting solution.

TB Joshua has proven himself time without numbers through his intervention on several conflicts in the African continent and the world.

As of recent, the world was a witness to how God uses the Prophet to intervene as an instrument of peace in the nation of South Sudan.

It is time to invite the Prophet of God in the peace negotiation through the African Union (AU) and the United Nations (UN) concerning the Blue Nile conflicts.

Voice of wisdom to the Egyptians, Sudanese and the Ethiopians.

Don’t fall for the evil agenda from the outsiders to cause you to fight amongst yourself. Be wise!

This battle is all about African pride and prosperity. And I don’t think anyone of you is against the prosperity of the other.

War will not benefit anyone. Don’t make yourself to be used by the outsiders to divide the continent and put you all against each other. Learn from your History!

Laying down your ego for the sake of peace is not diminishing. Restraint in the face of provocation only shows your level of maturity.

This is a simple issue that can be handled by God.

Africa is a Mother of peace and prosperity.  Not crisis and poverty. Come together as brothers, learn to compromise and see how you can be a solution and of help to each other. Let Love Lead!

Secret Deeds Determine How We Use the Name of Jesus in the Open

prayer mountian, tb joshua, scoanIn one of his many teachings, repeatedly broadcast on Emmanuel.tv, Prophet TB Joshua said, “What we do privately in secret would determine what we could achieve in the name of Jesus in the open”. This statement has a profound impression on many viewers, especially those wondering why their own, “Be Healed in the Name of Jesus”, has not produced the expected effect. What we do privately and secretly could hold the key to whether or not we can invoke the mighty name of Jesus Christ in our favour.  What’s done in darkness will come to light as success or failure. Instead of flying from one planet to another we may keep crawling and struggling from a single point to another. The common testimony remains, “I am trying to follow Jesus but I am failing. I believe, help my unbelief.”

The unfolding events around us and in many churches all over the world reveal this reality and why there is unbelief, envy, chaos and feebleness in the Church today. We see our history, our past blunders and mistakes, unforgiving spirits, inability to let go the past, occultism and idolatry, common willful sins, all littering the different hearts and consequently in the ministries meant to proclaim Jesus. This truth and operational principle declare and forces all secret things to eventually come to light. The question is not if things will come to the light but when or how? Unfortunately, our weaknesses are coming up to hunt us due to the inability to claim our divine rights in Christ Jesus. In Genesis 4, God says to Cain, “Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.” Even Abel’s blood is shouting out this principle for us to understand that a Cain may no longer enjoy fellowship nor power with God.

If the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) must change people, nations and the entire world it has to change the common perception of every class of people in the Church. The symbol of our success must remain “Wearing the Garment of Holiness and be in the fullness of the Holy Spirit”. If for a positive result we must ask “According to His will” we may also ask first that, “What is His will?” That there is power in our mouth, the belief in our heart, released through our mouth by faith? This authority and power, in the name of Jesus, go hand in hand through meditation in His Word. The World must key into the recent prophetic word from Prophet TB Joshua that the “Ministry of Distance is not a Barrier” can be an “International Zoom Crusade for Healing, Deliverance and to Promoting Jesus Christ”.

The carnal world is expecting a scientific code, a sign, or healing and deliverance that would not need it to go through the name of Jesus or faith in Him. The world wants to do without Jesus. Although for us Jesus is our Product, our own Jesus is not for sale in SCOAN. Whilst there is no biblical code that can be invoked in exchange to our faith and holy living in Christ Jesus, the Bible, emphasized by our prophet, teaches on what is more essential to our successful walk with Jesus. The Lord Jesus and His Word must be at the centre of our living because if the Lord doesn’t build the house our work would be in vain. There is also a necessity to be diligent in our work because lazy people always want things but they never get them. Yet everyone has been given talents equal to their abilities and destined functions. If anyone refuses to use given talents such talents may be lost. The prophet has taught extensively too that we should always be willing to give freely in love to gain more; Casting our bread upon the waters to find it in multiples after many days. Those who refuse to give will end up having less and piling up unheard and unanswered prayers. In (1 Kings 3:1) we read, “…He (King Solomon) was wiser than all men…” This wisdom he exercised in many ways beside leadership. King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom, (2 Chronicles 9:22). World leaders must learn from the Wisdom of Solomon and come to Jesus, so that daily informed decisions can be taken.

Being in a state of mere physical darkness is probably not what the prophet is referring to. Many Christians create a state of physical darkness during prayer or meditation by closing the eyes so that other senses of the body could be made to work better. The physical sight can be deceiving, tempting us to believe only what we can see with the eyes. Right now the entire world is only seeing the global statistics of COVID-19 and its fearful forecasts.  Whereas the spiritual eyes have unlimited meditation power and undistracted by what the environment dictates; the prophet might have seen many days ahead of COVID-19. The visual sense blinds other senses of the body making us believe in only what is visible, but when we blind it our faith should grow and we have improved concentration. Similarly our secret and private life, if spent on meditation on the Word and not what our circumstance suggests, would produce enough faith upon which the power of God can be released rather than a result of some academic exercise. The Lord Jesus is always true to His word when He said that “We would receive whatever we ask for in His name”.

Therefore, despite the prevailing global carnality, diversity in faith, a form of International Crusade by Zoom should be supported as we pray along with Prophet TB Joshua and his team. With prophets the standing of TB Joshua Revelation 1:7, “Behold, He (Jesus) is coming with the clouds, and every eye shall see Him”, becomes so near and a reality. Jesus described what people will be doing at such a time: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day the Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Emmanuel

I am Ready to Pray For COVID-19 Patients in Isolation Centres – TB JOSHUA

TB Joshua, SCOAN, Emmanuel TVNigerian Pastor TB Joshua has signalled his readiness to virtually offer prayer for COVID-19 patients in isolation centres around the world.

In a special announcement posted to Joshua’s YouTube channel Emmanuel TV, the cleric called on relevant government and medical authorities to “organise those who are in isolation” and “arrange how to connect them to us on Emmanuel TV”.

“The blessing of Jesus is for those who knock and ask,” the announcement began. “In whatever way you support to make this happen, we are a team; we are not doing more than you,” it added.

“Together we shall pray for them. Together we shall be set free from this COVID-19,” the statement continued, quoting the Biblical reference in Luke 4:40 where Jesus healed “all who had various kinds of sickness after the mass prayer.”

“The same anointing that heals one is also able to heal all at the same time,” it concluded, calling on all interested parties to contact the church via their email address info@emmanuel.tv.

Last week, the World Health Organisation reacted to a trending video in which a Cameroonian medical doctor was ‘healed’ from COVID-19 after receiving “interactive prayer” from Joshua’s ministry, acknowledging “spiritual leadership is very important in a time like this”.

His testimony was followed days later by a couple of university lecturers who equally acknowledged receiving healing from the dreaded virus, replete with medical reports before and after prayers from Emmanuel TV.

Since starting its ‘Interactive Prayer’ – in which online prayer is offered via video calls – Joshua’s ministry has prayed for COVID-19 patients from around the world including citizens of USA, South Africa, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Honduras and Cuba.

VIDEO: WHO comments on Medical doctor’s healing of COVID-19 TB Joshua’s church

The World Health Organization (WHO) has responded to a video of a Cameroonian medical doctor Kameni Pierre, who was healed of COVID-19 after prayers from one of Pastor TB Joshua’s recently anointed Prophet through the Church channel, Emmanuel TV in the “Distance is not a Barrie” Program.

WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus

WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus, WHO Executive Director of Health Emergencies, Dr Michael Ryan and other WHO officials were questioned about the miracle by a Cameroonian journalist Simon Ateba during an interactive media session on Wednesday, July 1.

“On Monday, a very popular pastor in Nigeria, T.B Joshua, released a video of a medical doctor in Cameroon who was said to have been cured of the virus through prayer,” Ateba stated, asking the panellists for their reaction.

In the video he referenced, Dr Kameni Pierre – a gynaecologist and obstetrician – receives prayer after affirming he was positive to coronavirus during an ‘Interactive Prayer Session’ organised by Emmanuel TV.

After ‘vomiting out’ the disease during prayer, the medical doctor held up his medical report days later confirming he was diagnosed negative to COVID-19.

In response, Dr Michael Ryan, the Executive Director of WHO Health Emergencies Programme, affirmed the readiness of WHO to collaborate with bodies like The SCOAN to advance the cause of the war against the deadly virus.

“Certainly, spiritual leadership is very important in times like this,” Ryan stated, praising the role of faith-based organisations in providing accurate information to communities.

Speaking further, the WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus added that faith and science should “go together”.

“We know many religious leaders who would really advise their followers to follow their faith and at the same time use science. The two do not contradict; they go together… We will call on all religious leaders to be in this fight and save lives,” he stated.

Ghebreyesus had earlier echoed TB Joshua’s prophecy where he declared 2020 “the year of humility” in which “God would humble us with our challenges”.

“If this virus is teaching us anything, it is humility,” the former Ethiopian Minister of Health asserted.

Emmanuel TV’s popular YouTube videos, many of which show similar cases of miraculous healing through prayer, have accumulated over six hundred million views.

Jesus Knew What He Would Do

scoan, tb JoshuaOn this occasion, Jesus crossed the Lake of Galilee, and as usual, a great crowd followed him because they had seen signs which He gave in His dealings with the sick. But Jesus went up the hillside and sat down there with His disciples. The Passover, the Jewish festival, was near. So Jesus, raising His eyes and seeing a great crowd on the way towards Him, said to Philip, “Where can we buy food for these people to eat?” Jesus said this to test Philip, for He knew what he was going to do, (John 6:6)

It is soul healing when we realise that Jesus knows everything about us and knows what He will do. But He may choose to test us as He did to Philip. It was expected that Philip would have acknowledged the Sovereignty and Supremacy of the Master over all He created by saying for example, “Sir you know all things, Lord. What shall we do?” Instead, Philip answered him in terms of economic and natural estimates, “It would take nearly a year’s wages to buy enough food for them, even if each one gets only a little.” Fortunately, there was another disciple around, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter. Andrew with some faith said, “A boy here has five loaves of bread and two small fish. But what can that little bit of food do for so many people?” That little faith was enough for Jesus our Lord and Saviour to be brought into the scene, as Prophet TB Joshua always says. Jesus said, “Tell the people to sit down.” The rest is a miracle as the heavens were open and bread and fishes flowed to the hungry and wearied souls. The multitude was feed with great leftovers.

The Bible testifies that Jesus is the eternal God who became a man to sacrifice His life for the sins of the whole world. He was always aware of this and was not expecting Philip to rain bread to feed the multitude but to have some faith in this eternal God. There was never a time Jesus doubted His calling nor was He ever overwhelmed by all the attention He received and allowed Himself to be taken for someone He was not. The prophets that He has called, anointed and using, have some of his divine attributes by His generous grace. They shouldn’t be bothered by worldly pursuits, earthly desires, nor feel overwhelmed by millions of people seeking help from them. Only that it is necessary to remain connected with the One who knows the way through the wilderness of life. The Bible makes it clear that Jesus was always confident of who He was and why He had come to earth. From our first glimpse of Him, until the end of His life, we find Jesus confident of His person and message. Those who trust Jesus should never doubt His ability nor put limits unto what is possible. Instead, we should know that “With God all things are possible, and what is not possible for man is possible for our God”. God can use His servants for our help.

Hence as the entire world is swimming in the wilderness of life, from fear and panic unto economic lockdown and eventually total humility that will leave no stone unturned, it is not too late to come to Jesus for our supplies. In this COVID-19 era, the God who knows what He will do is reshaping the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) to minister to the world in a new way and we must support their effort, in prayers and different kinds. They have newly come up with “Distance is not a barrier” when the Church is in lockdown. People across the globe can benefit from this but by faith.

Everyone should come to seek Jesus like Zacchaeus, a tax collector who lived in the city Jericho at the time of Jesus. He learned that Jesus the prophet was passing through the city and he ran ahead of the crowd and climbed up into a sycamore tree to have a better view of Jesus. It is not enough to secretly install Emmanuel.tv inside your bedroom to watch or to use to attack SCOAN. There is so much to learn about Zacchaeus beyond the fact that he was a short guy who hung out in trees just to see Jesus. Even what’s coming out from the World Health Organisation (WHO) about SCOAN is Zacchaeus and Pharisaical in my own opinion. It is necessary to truly and openly acknowledge Jesus and the fact that “Jesus knows what He will do in the World He has created”. God has the final say. Organisations and nations like the UN, WHO, USA, UK, China, Russia, even Nigeria, and all others must listen to what God has to say. God is Supreme, Omnipotent, Omniscience and Omnipresence. Emmanuel
