Would T.B. Joshua’s 2017 Prophecy Be Taken Seriously?

tb Joshua usa election

Prophet T.B. Joshua

Compliment of the season to all our readers. It is our utmost pleasure and thanks to God that we, the publishers and you, our faithful readers made it till the end of yet another wonderful year. As year 2016 comes to an end, the coming year is filled with high hopes and expectations. However, the New Year will be well prepared for and better off if we know God’s plans for us. The Holy Bible makes us understand that God told Noah He would destroy the world with flood; this warning from God helped Noah to work towards God’s instructions, by building the ark that made him and others who listened to God’s warning escape the unforeseen occurrence. This is why Prophecy is important for everyone because it prepares us ahead of time to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

It is barely a year, since Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied concerning the year 2016. The ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua is well known for its accurate Prophetic utterances and warning on critical issues about individuals, nations, and the world. Few months after his 2016 Prophecy, the forewarned events began to unfold, confirming the accuracy of his Prophecies. The man of God gave numerous advice and warning to nations and leaders of the world. He foretold that:

  • There will be a large scale food scarcity and advised the world especially, African countries to go back to Agriculture.
  • The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has good intentions for his country but he would do everything possible to reject the revaluation of the Nigerian currency.
  • There will be excess rainfall in some parts of the world while others will experience drought.
  • There will be uprising of terrorism as a result of political instability in nations of the world.
  • There will be a stability in the then fluctuating South African currency and many more.

He then urged those concerned to take his Prophetic words seriously. But little or none of these prophecies were taking seriously. The neglect of these Prophecies by the concerned nations led to the various challenges – hunger, economic recession and the increase in terrorism experienced this year.

A Prophecy that comes as a warning can be averted if the people concerned take them seriously and pray to avert it; for not all Prophecies that are given are meant to come to pass. However, they can come to pass only if those involved take the prophecies for granted. Just like the Prophecy about the 2016 USA Presidential election, Trump supporters and the American Church took the Prophecy serious and averted it by praying for God’s mercy upon their land.

As the Prophet will always say, “a Prophet shall say that which he shall live to see accomplished.” The people, who refused to take the 2016 prophetic warning serious, can actually see its fulfillment; for they are now a reality. The words of the Prophet should be taken with utmost seriousness because his Prophecies have been proven to be 100% accurate and it is even a rare privilege for us to be in this era of a great Prophet of God, who can communicate the mind of God to individuals and nations of the world.

As we would be ushered into the year 2017, with a Prophetic message from the servant of God, we should therefore see this as an opportunity to know what God has to say concerning our nations and the world at large. We urge the world leaders to listen and carefully heed to whatever prophecy that may concern their nations and the world in order to avert any negative occurrence so as to make our world a better place.

The Nigeria Economic Recession, A Call for God’s Intervention

Nigeria flag The current economic crisis in the nation of Nigeria has been forewarned years back by Prophet T.B. Joshua. The Prophet who has been advising the leaders on the most efficient way to manage the nation’s natural resources and Economy, enlightened them to form the habit of exchanging the nation’s crude oil for advanced technologies (READ: FOR NIGERIA TO DEVELOP, THEY SHOULD EXCHANGE OIL FOR TECHNOLOGY” – TB JOSHUA). As well as enacting policies towards the diversification of the nation’s Economy, by investing and developing the Agricultural sector. Even in his New-year message, Prophet T.B. Joshua categorically told Africans to go back to their destiny as the ‘breadbasket of the world’. Food should be their major export and they should exchange food for technology. He then warned Nigerians that the future of their country is crying for help and that the country is in a valley. The Prophet said this was as a result of past mistakes and everyone has to share the blame for the nation’s predicament. He then called on every Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari who has good intentions, to take the country out of the valley.

We, however, are not trying to eulogise the fulfilment of God’s words of warning to the nation of Nigeria through His humble servant, Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua, but the solutions to make the nation’s economy back to boom.

Nevertheless, it is imperative to talk about a disturbing trend in the world today. It is somehow now acceptable as a criterion for one to be seen as an expert or a professional guru when one abhors solutions that have to do with God.  And also the world institutions seems to be comfortable with ridiculous claims and fictitious theories by some alleged ‘enlightened minds’ connived from the pit of hell to undermine God’s involvement in the world’s affairs. The truth remains that God is the ultimate solution to all mankind problems and that includes, the nation of Nigeria present Economic challenges.

God the solution to the Nigeria economic recession those not mean, the Nigeria Government should just go and be Praying, instead of them to embark on viable economic policies that would trigger an Economic boom. Sometimes one wonder where those with limited knowledge about the scripture got those spurious claims that Christianity or religion does not encourage human skillfulness and expertise, but just prayers. Though, it is important to pray as a believer. The scripture instructed us to “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17), but the same scripture clearly stated that “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:14-26). God does not condone laziness and manna are not going to fall from heaven. Human skills, intellectualism and expertise are gifts from God and we are to make use of them to better the world. It is out of pride and ignorance for one to worship those things instead of the giver of wisdom…READ MORE

ITALY EARTHQUAKE AND FRANCE TERRORIST ATTACK, BLAME T.B. JOSHUA?

Italy earthquake France attack Tb Joshua

Prophet T.B Joshua

It is so unfortunate that many, especially those in authorities in our present world don’t have value for human lives anymore that our pride and arrogance against the truth means nothing to us even when innocent human lives are involved. Instead of us to humble ourselves and learn from our mistakes, we tend to be looking for whom to blame in our misfortunes.

The Italy Earthquake Prophecy is not the first among countless accurate Prophecies by Prophet T.B. Joshua to nations around the world that has come to fulfillment because of the “I don’t care attitude” by those in authorities that supposed to take the necessary precautionary steps to make sure that no lives were lost.

It is true the prophet always call on his congregation and Emmanuel.TV viewers all over the world to always pray against the fulfillment of these tragic events. The question is what do the leaders of those nations do when they heard that something tragic were said would occur in their nations? The answer is nothing! Even when efforts were made to draw the attentions of these leaders to those Prophecies they ignore it and act as if they are ignorant that the lives of their citizens whom they are supposed to protect are in imminent danger.

It is unbecoming that world leaders we look upon always take for granted serious security issues that has to do with lives and destruction of properties. Even when they are quite aware of the status of Prophet T.B. Joshua, with his accurate local and international Prophetic records, but would act deaf out of sheer ignorant and arrogance to these disturbing Prophecies about their respective nations. When the Prophecy now comes to fulfillment they would start accusing the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua of taking advantage of negative Prophecy instead of them to ask God for repentance and amend their ways.

Those who want us to believe that the Prophet is taking advantage of those tragedies are not being fair in their arguments against Prophet T.B. Joshua. As good citizens of the world, our priority is to promote world peace and the better life for all, irrespective of nation, religion, race and tribe. We should always encourage nations and leaders all over the world to always listen to the voice of God through his humble Prophet. By so doing, they would quickly take proactive measures to stop any imminent disasters exposed by God’s Prophet rather than, wrongly accusing the God sent Prophet among us for exposing the evil plan of the devil…READ MORE

Re: The Dangerous Lies of TB Joshua, By Ebenezer Obadare

It is so ironic and hits me as a shocker when I find out that in this modern age, enlightened minds still choose to dwell in unexamined and preposterous facts. It saddens me when I come to realize how critics can become so desperate to dig out dirt from a pure terrain. So many writers today come into the www world to spread lies and words that have no basis using normative statements instead of empirical approach that has proof and concrete evidence. As Christians or as responsible humans, we are to carefully examine situations before dragging innocent individuals to the dirt or staining one’s reputation just for mere attention. I pity the educational sector of today, it has gotten to the extent that some so-called professors and associate professors write so lamely using trial and error means, presumptions (that is, what they hear and how they feel concerning issues).

The SCOAN building collapse happened since a year back, but some individuals make it seem like it occurs daily. I am not trying to say that the victims who lost their lives are meaningless, I am just saying that as a nation I really think that we are matured and have gotten to a point where we have to let go the thoughts of tragedy.

 Ebenezer Babatunde Obadare- Associate Professor

Ebenezer Babatunde Obadare Associate Professor

Contrary is the case for Ebenezer Obadare who claims to be an associate professor in the University of Kansas. The so called associate professor still keeps dwelling in done and dusted issues which have so far been known to be fabricated. This makes one ask the question; how can a writer with such status still rely on falsifications? The answer is simply that the world is unbecoming. Most of the issues raised by this writer have already been addressed in previous articles: Building Collapse: Five (5) Spurious Lies against T.B Joshua’s Ministry.

Ebenezer Obadare Quotes: “The Egbe, the planning committee, and the alleged Dr. Adewunmi are, in all probability, the same person- yes, you guessed right, T.B. Joshua himself; and if you have been debating whether or not Pastor Joshua is worthy of such an award, then, sadly, you have fallen to his gimmick, which is to deflect attention away from his ongoing legal battle with the Lagos state government.”

The question is, how ethical can it be that the renowned Yoruba group Egbe Omo Oodua Parapo (1945) a group that was among those that advocated for Nigerian independence connived with Prophet T.B Joshua to manufacture an award for himself In order to deflect attention from his ongoing legal battle with the Lagos state government when he was clearly not swayed by previous prestigious awards that were given to him which includes the pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua as the Yoruba man of the decade, the Arewa award from the northern part of Nigeria as the Ambassador of Peace and the OFR award of the Federal Republic of Nigeria presented by the late Nigerian President Umaru Musa Yar’adua (of blessed memory). All these prestigious awards of the past did not influence the one sided verdict of the coronal magistrate, why can one feel that the recent award from Egbe Omo Oodua Parapo will…?

Let us not be over shadowed with hatred for the man of God, let God’s will be done concerning this case and not trying to add more pain to the wounds of those who lost their loved ones.

As for the alleged N50, 000 naira bribe, it is not new in the kind of society we live today; anything can be done to ruin the image of a man. A journalist known as Mr. Nicholas Ibekwe, went online telling the world that he has a record of Prophet Tb Joshua bribing press men with N50, 000 each, but after listening to the audio tape it was proven absolutely wrong by other journalists and the public. If Ebenezer Obadare, properly listened to the record with an unbiased mind, he would have discovered that the statement of Tb Joshua on that record had nothing to do with bribery. Would one deliberately ill-expose oneself in the public? Both the presentation of the cash and his statements were done in the open, simply because he had no hidden agenda concerning this case. TB Joshua never bribes! It is obvious that the obsessed journalist was simply making a big deal out of the generosity of the Prophet. People of the world, let’s not out of hatred persecute ourselves, in spite of status, religion, race, educational background, etc…. Be your brother’s keeper.

Ebenezer Obadare also ridiculously stated that: “Pastor TB Joshua has spent a lot of money trying to get away with plain murder.” As an associate professor the meaning of the word ‘murder’ should be clear to a person of that caliber by now; according to the Cambridge dictionary, it clearly states that murder is intentionally killing a person. In previous updates on the building collapse issue which this professor failed to research on was clearly analyzed and so far proven from the scene of the incidence that the building collapse was controlled and not as a result of structural failure. But all these points are already known even when the Lagos State Government and its coronal inquest insists that it is as a result of structural failure giving a blind eye to facts that proves contrary. It is surprising that some writers publish articles without proper research and come to a conclusion without updating themselves. So how on earth can a man of God be responsible for the collapse of a building that there is no sign of crack or stress on the foundation? How can a man that heals the sick with the help of the Holy Spirit, helps the poor and positively contributes to his country’s economy kill his own pilgrims?

Let us be rational…….! As you read this article, ponder over each statement and you would find out that the problem is in reality coming from unreliable sources and unenlightened writers with dubious titles and self-bent insinuations.

Prophet T. B Joshua proposed to me first day we met –Evelyn

Mrs. Evelyn Joshua

Mrs. Evelyn Joshua

Prophet T.B Joshua’s wife, Evelyn, wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s happy her children are doing quite well and their father “is a great man”. They’ve been together for 25 blissful years. Lately, she celebrated her 47th birthday which she said was fun. In this interview with Sunday Sun, she reflects on her life with the man of God and concluded it’s been worth it and gives Almighty God the glory. Excerpts:

How are you today?

I’m fine…

I can see that you are happy and excited that your daughter, Sarah, was called to the bar today. But in a nutshell, just express your feelings.

I am very happy; it’s the desire of many parents to see their children succeed. I am happy she’s taking this step; she’s working hard towards her destiny, so it’s a great day for me and for her too.

Okay, do you know so many people don’t know that Prophet T.B Joshua has a wife let alone children? So, can you talk about the family?

At least you know now (laughs). I have heard that story before. Yes, I have heard that in the past but emm… it’s just one of those things. I don’t need to tell you but I think we have been together for the past 25 years now.

Please, tell us how you met.

Yes, I have said it before and it’s still the same. Hmmm… how do I call it? It’s just a divine arrangement. It’s a long story but anyway we met and the only surprising thing there was that, it was the day I met him that he proposed to me.

Wow, really? On his knees? How did he do it?

Straight forward (Laughs).

He said ‘I like you. I want to marry you’ just like that?

Yes, but really I was skeptical because it was strange, so, I just want to thank God that it really worked out. Like I said earlier, we have been together for the past 25 years and it’s working out fine.

Most people believe that pastors are not romantic. They fast and pray all the time. Is Prophet T. B Joshua romantic?

He’s a great man.

Great man on bed?

Hmmm… I don’t know. I wouldn’t know because no woman would love to discuss her husband to that level, but I think he’s a good man.

Okay, since you got married to him, what is it that you have learnt from him?

I have learnt a lot from him being a disciplined man. But I’m still learning anyway.

Having this type of cross-cultural marriage because I learnt you are from Delta State and he is from Ondo State, how did it happen? Did you have challenges?

In every marriage, there are always challenges. I don’t even see that as a problem because we are both Nigerians. Even when you marry from your tribe, even your hometown there will still be problems. But you know, with maturity and fear of God, you can go on.

Did your parents object to the union initially?

In every marriage you should expect that. That’s what keeps the marriage going. When you remember all the obstacles, you will want to make the marriage work. Honestly, you will want to do all you could to make it work. When you take a man or woman to your father’s house, you don’t expect everybody to welcome the person, but when you think of those people that say no, you will surely want to make it work.

When you were getting married, was he deep in religion like now?

Yes, I met him as a prophet. I told you I don’t want to go into details but I actually went to his place.

Okay, when you are angry, how does he calm you down? Does he buy you some nice gifts like jewelry?

I don’t know what you mean by angry.

That moment of tension, you know, like when church members are taking too much of his attention?

In fact, that is the first thing you have to understand. When you are married to a man of God, you have to know he’s a man of the people. So, that should be the basic thing you have to understand as wife of a prophet. There’s nothing like church members taking too much of his time, he has to do his work. I have never been angry about it and I can never be angry about it.

What of the other way round?

Which way?

When he’s angry, how do you calm him down?

When he’s angry? (Laughs). There’s no man who doesn’t get angry but he shouldn’t allow his anger to lead him into sin, you understand? When it comes to expressing it, do so and let it end there, so that is it.

Some people don’t understand your husband, they say he’s a mysterious man with mysterious powers, when you read such stories, how do you react?

I know it’s not true. They don’t know him, he’s not a strange man, he’s not a mysterious man; he’s just dedicated to his work. He is a man who has the fear of God in him, that is it. Those stories don’t move me at all because they don’t seem to understand him.

So, what is that precious gift that he has ever given you, probably on your birthday?

Not even a gift per se, but words of wisdom, and I think that is all what life is all about. You find it, ignite it and use it. That is what your heart desires.

Some people say his favourite food is pounded yam, is that true?

No! (Laughs). Should I tell you? Emmmm… I know he likes beans and corn, you know, the beans cooked together with corn, you know that? He can take that at least twice a week. Yoruba call it “Adalu”.

When he wants to go for solid food, which one does he prefer?

Yes, swallow or whatever? He takes that too but beans and corn are his favourites.

Mama, do you feel fulfilled marrying a prophet and having three beautiful, intelligent children, all girls?

Yes, I feel fulfilled. I don’t even know I don’t have any son because I have lots of boys around me. In this part of the world, most especially, from where I am from, people cherish male children, but my husband didn’t give me any reason to think of that.

You mean you are not under pressure from him or his family to have male children?

Not at all! I believe when you make that a problem, you begin to see it as a problem before you. But it’s not a problem to me at all.

Could you please tell us the secret behind your youthfulness, nobody will believe you have these grown-ups?

Really? You know the good thing? I will be 47 tomorrow (Thursday December 17).

Wow! Happy birthday in advance!

Thank you.

So, how are we celebrating it?

We are already celebrating.

How would you describe style, what is style to you?

Style is just for the one who fears God. That’s the way I see style.

I can see you donning some nice jewelry. Are you a jewelry freak?

Not really. You know, when time permits, I can just have them.

Are you comfortable in local or designer wears?

I just go with things I’m comfortable with. I don’t look for designers everywhere; I wear anything I’m comfortable with.

2014 – the year TB Joshua stepped-up Credibility

2014 was a year of spectacularly accurate prophecies from TB Joshua. Despite the terrible tragedy that claimed the lives of 116 people and injured many more. It was a year when TB Joshua’s credibility as a prophet was greatly confirmed. Contrary to critic opinion, Joshua did not fail to foresee the disaster that befell his church building. He spoke prophetically in parable during his first address on his return from Colombia saying; ““…If you learnt that they bomb here now one of you would be the first to call CNN that they have bombed the synagogue …I’ve been telling you something far, but now I’m telling you something as close as my mouth”. . As close as his mouth meant his very own life. Those who insinuate that Joshua did not foresee the disaster are badly misinformed. Here is the video below:

The band of critics who question why the victims were not healed or raised from the dead if Joshua were a true prophet are tempters of God. Was not Jesus sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel and yet a tower fell on many people right there in Israel killing many; Did Jesus raise any of them up from dead? Was Job not a God fearing man? Why were his sons and daughters who were victims of a disaster not raised from the dead? Being faithful to God does not eliminate adversity. They do not know the scriptures who measure faithfulness to God by circumstances. The proof of a man’s right standing with God is not that things go smoothly with him, but that he acts with God, knows God’s opinion of himself and of others. Through acting with God, there comes peace of heart knowing that God is with him, for him and deserves his best. It is this peace that has kept TB Joshua going in spite of negative sense evidences through which many critics predicted that his end had come.

Some Critics say the SCOAN attendance plummeted even to the extent of having an impact on national tourism revenues. Funny how for the very first time, they admit that the influx of pilgrims to the SCOAN is an immense contribution to Nigerian tourism revenue. Had we not witnessed a disaster of this sort, we might never have heard them admit to this. And the reason for the initial decrease is clear. Before the disaster just about anyone could come to the SCOAN, but after the disaster, it would take a great deal of faith and courage to visit. The disaster caused a screening away of the faithless and sightseers from those who are genuinely seeking God, Nothing to be alarmed about.

For those who claim he was caught bribing journalists. Follow this link for an unbiased and well researched view on the subject.

Also those who count the continuous threats of arrest at TB Joshua by the coroner for not turning up to court should consider that the initial purpose of the inquest was to determine the cause and manner of the collapse. How does summoning TB Joshua to court fall in line with this purpose? Was he an eyewitness to the incident or what?

The proof of a man’s right standing with God is not that things go smoothly with him, but that he acts with God, knows God’s opinion of himself and of others.

The proof of a man’s right standing with God is not that things go smoothly with him, but that he acts with God, knows God’s opinion of himself and of others.

It is our prayer that the events of 2014 will help open the eyes of those held captive by ignorance so that in 2015, they may find their freedom from blindness of heart and deception.

For the slew of critics who after turning a blind eye to the overwhelming number of fulfilled prophecies for 2014, supposedly highlight 3 alleged prophetic failures: flight MH370, the release of the chibok girls and the writing off of Ebola.

Such people should realize that in the case of flight MH370, TB Joshua gave direct clues in real time to the location of the plane wreckage which ought to be looked into but was blatantly ignored.

In the case of the chibok girls, he spoke saying the girls would be released immediately, and why? Because they have not all been released shall we say he has spoken wrongly? When Jesus by revelation said thus to John over 2000 years ago “behold I come quickly”, and now it’s over 2000 years since he said this, does that prove him a liar?

In the writing off of Ebola, we know how the miraculous deliverance of Nigeria from the deadly plague happened after his prayers, and for the deliverance of other nations we are yet to hear reports. But it would be too soon to say his words have failed because a prophet shall prophesy that which he shall live to see accomplished.

The real problem is that these ardent critics do not in the least believe in TB Joshua as a prophet which has been the problem from the very beginning.

If we believe that indeed he is a true prophet of the most high and he seems to say something that does not seem to sit right with our reason. We ought always to believe, not that he has spoken amiss, but that we have not conceived it aright. For ignorance does not judge knowledge, neither is knowledge competent enough to judge foreknowledge. It is plain foolishness to act contrary to this truth. How can one who does not know rightly judge one who knows? And how can one who knew only when he saw it happen rightly judge one who foreknew?

Instead of misrepresenting his words, nitpicking on statements that don’t really matter in the scheme of things, when he speaks and we do not understand, let us ask: “prophet, explain to us what you mean when you say this or that”. He is alive and still amongst us in Ikotun egbe Lagos Nigeria. His email address is info@scoan.org. His website is www.scoan.org. He did not speak and run away.
