The Chairperson and leader of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Lagos, Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, has declared that her husband, Prophet TB Joshua, remains the General Overseer and Founder of the SCOAN.

This she said in her spirit filled speech as she made a clarion call to all partners and members of the SCOAN worldwide to work hand-in-hand with her new leadership to move the ministry forward.

I am pleased to address you at this moment upon my appointment as the leader of The SCOAN. To all our members, Partners, friends and compatriots in faith, I say, Good Morning and Win Today. It has been three months since the glorious home call of our dear father, founder and General Overseer, Senior Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, which occurred on 5th June, 2021.

These past three months have surely been challenging, but we thank you all for remaining strong and for keeping the faith as we had been trained, built, instructed and taught by God’s servant himself that trials are the soil upon which faith flourishes. We salute your faith.

Today, like always, is a new dawn in The SCOAN. As we all know, Prophet T.B. Joshua fought the good fight of the Kingdom and finished strong, to the glory of God. We have now commenced the journey from where our father left the baton. He had already prepared us all for this new phase, and we must rise up to the occasion as a team under the command of God and the direction of the Holy Spirit. This journey is for us all.

The SCOAN cannot be without you – all the members, Partners and friends of the Ministry. So, this now serves as a clarion call for you all to rise as an army of God as we push this Great Commission forward.

Like my beloved husband used to say, “Let love lead.” Today, I represent the symbol of that love, even as he continues to reside by the right hand of his Maker. I am only a servant who, under the leadership and direction of the Holy Spirit, will team up with you all to direct the affairs of this great Ministry.

We will work together, pray together, fight the fight of faith together, win together so that we can all inherit the everlasting home together.

I know that we have all missed the congregation of our brethren for the past one and a half years, but let me assure you that as God leads, we shall all soon converge again and worship God together as a family. So, watch out! There is no gainsaying the fact that I and the entire team – we need your prayers, support, encouragement and advice all at this time. The duty is much, the burden is heavy, but we will all cast them unto Jesus, who has already given a promise of His help.

I thank you all once again for the love and support you have shown to this Ministry and Senior Prophet T.B. Joshua for the past years. But if there is any time to show that love more, the time is now. Let me again assure you, as it has always been the watchword of this Ministry, that God is always with us.

Did Evelyn Joshua Evicted TB Joshua’s Disciple out of SCOAN?

There have been videos circulating on social media showing supposed disciples of TB Joshua packing their belongings out of the SCOAN. Those packing were alleged to have been evicted by our Mummy, Mrs Evelyn Joshua, the wife of Prophet TB Joshua. This latest episode is being purported to be part of a leadership tussle going on at the SCOAN.

Why one would have chosen to remain silent from this falsehood been spread by mischief makers who have been imagining a leadership tussle which in reality is non-existing, but for the sake of clarifying to the public who may be misled by this falsehood and start making false judgment hence this clarification.

It is important to know that there is no leadership tussle at the SCOAN and Mrs Evelyn Joshua did not evict TB Joshua’s disciples out of the SCOAN.

Those who are alleged to have left SCOAN left there at their own accord. Mrs Evenly Joshua is a kind-hearted mother with an embodiment of love just as her husband Prophet TB Joshua, she is not taken any revenge on anyone or trying to position herself as the general overseer of the SCOAN.

We must recognize the fact that she has a legal claim to everything at the SCOAN, including becoming the spiritual head as the general overseer. She is, however, not desperate for any position instead she has to commit everything under God’s will.

Mrs Evelyn Joshua was recently confirmed as one of the trustees of the SCOAN, by the Church constitution there are three trustees since the husband demise it is normal for her the wife to take her husband place as the trustees and this is part of the state law for organisations that are regulated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria.

This position as one of the trustees of the SCOAN is to fulfil all righteousness following the state laws. Mrs Evelyn Joshua has never claim to be the new general overseer of the SCOAN, she called her position “human Leadership” of the Church.

That alone is to confirm her sense of humility and to buttress the fact that she is open to God’s will and not in any way in a hurry or desperate to make herself the general overseer of the SCOAN.

Normally, not every one of TB Joshua’s disciples and Church workers may want to work with the new leadership at the SCOAN and those that are leaving are doing it at their own will and not that they are being evicted has been reported in the News and social media.

It is also important we understand that those that are leaving are not in any way bad persons it’s just their personal decision which every one of us most respect. They are still our brethren in the vineyard of Christ and we all have to always put them in our prayers.

As it stands right now, Mrs Evelyn Joshua needs all our support, prayers and love. She has made us understand in her speech that SCOAN is open to everyone.

We pray for God’s wisdom upon our mummy, Mrs Evenly Joshua in the cause of her new “human leadership” position in piloting the affair of the SCOAN. We as well pray for more understanding and unity of purpose amongst the disciples, workers and SCOAN family worldwide.

The gate of hell shall not prevail against the Church.

Remember the Cross that Jesus Bore on Our Behalf

In the time of Jesus Christ, when He appeared in flesh and blood living amongst us, the cross symbolized painful execution and punishment for wrong. The Roman government of that day used it for capital punishment. Jesus accepted to bear this painful cross on our behalf. “He bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds, you have been healed,” (1 Peter 2:14).

In the world today the cross is a symbol of Christianity. People wear a miniature cross around the neck or display it in a place of worship as can be found in the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos Nigeria. The cross that used to be a symbol of torture, execution, repulsiveness Jesus Christ has turned it into a symbol of victory, triumph and salvation for everyone who would believe in Him. This is why believers throughout the ages have chosen this as a sign of their faith. In fact, without the cross in our teaching the theology will be incomplete, empty, and Christianity a powerless religion. According to Scripture, there can be no forgiveness without the shedding of blood (Heb. 9:22). Christ had to bear the punishment for our sin for God to grant us forgiveness.

If you don’t know Jesus as a personal Lord and Saviour please look to the cross. You may hear Him knocking at the door of your heart. Also by watching Prophet TB Joshua on Emmanuel TV or listening to SCOAN messages, people’s testimonies should encourage you to experience Jesus first hand. The purpose is to help you know Jesus better and believe His words in your heart for your salvation. Then the transformation begins. Happy Emmanuel TV Anniversary

Emmanuel TV has become a global Christian television network. It was founded by the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), Prophet TB Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria on 8 March 2007. By the year 1990 Prophet TB Joshua’s religious activities, especially in Lagos areas, was becoming known and many people from all over the world were attracted to him from that time. From there the then young Prophet TB Joshua began airing regular programs on Local Nigerian television stations. Those programs included miracles, testimonies, charity works, prayers, etc.

The whole activities of Prophet TB Joshua and all his many ministries seem very similar to the events recorded in (1 Kings 13:1-32) in a day when the nation of Israel was falling into apostasy. There were three sets of actors in the story, namely King Jeroboam (the Government), a man of God out of Judah (Prophet TB Joshua), and an old prophet in Bethel,(the pastors and Bishops that were on the ground before TB Joshua). The Prophet of God came to Bethel and prophesied, but when the old prophet of Bethel learned of this, he lied to him saying an angel told him to come and eat and drink in his house (verse 18). The old prophet lied but when the man of God out of Judah believed the old prophet he was killed by a lion.

All through Prophet TB Joshua ministry these old prophets have joined with the authorities that are available to derail Prophet TB Joshua. If Prophet TB Joshua had believed them, joined them to eat and drink in their homes, there would have been no Emmanuel TV and the story of SCOAN may be different. As we celebrate the Channel that is changing lives, changing people, healing nations and bringing the pure gospel of Jesus Christ to every corner of the world let us remember to remain true and focus on Jesus Christ alone. The prevailing world and its agenda are going to continue to be anti-Jesus, falsehoods, and conforming to the world and its lusts. Let us support Emmanuel TV with prayers and spreading the gospel through it.

If there is one thing we all agree on it is that “The Best is Yet to Come”. There are so many areas where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is yet to reach and where Emmanuel Partners can work on by installing Emmanuel satellites without compromising its purity and genuineness to holiness. Despite the prevailing world circumstances, covid-19 pandemic, economic recession, worldliness and general anti—Christ living Emmanuel TV has shown that there is hope and there is Jesus to come. Who is This Jesus of Christmas to You?

Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, a predominately Gentile area, located some 25 miles north of Bethsaida where Jesus had just healed the blind man, (Mark 8:22-26). Here is where Jesus asked his disciples, saying, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” They answered, “Some say that thou art John the Baptist, some say Elias; and others say Jeremias or one of the prophets”. Then Jesus asked His disciples, “But whom say ye that I am?” Their spoke man Simon answered and said, “Thou art the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the Living God”, (Matthew 16:13-16). Jesus didn’t ask this question, “Do you have any idea who I am?” to throw His weight around, or because He wasn’t sure of His identity, rather He asked the question to help His disciples come to the right knowledge.

Today our lives continue to be filled with questions, relevant or irrelevant, some will have answers but many others are unanswerable. Some of the questions are very mundane and routine. For example, people may be asking questions such as, “Who is TB Joshua?”, “Is TB Joshua human?”, “Are there angels in SCOAN”, “What food does TB Joshua eat”, “Are these miracles real?” etc. Other questions may be helpful and very relevant, “Can you arrange for me to see TB Joshua please?”, “When does SCOAN have its next prayer line service that I can attend?”, “Will God forgive my many sins?”, “Is it true that Jesus is the Son of God? etc.

Jesus responded to Simon and said unto him, “Blessed art thou, Simon son of Jona, for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven, (Matthew 16:17-19). A correct answer to every question earns a lot of credit points whereas inability to come to the right answers is a failure with all its consequences. Simon got it right and the foundation to build the Church, got a new prophetic name as Peter, the keys to open and to lose, with open access to heaven.

Everyone needs to know whom Jesus is and accept and worship Him based on a true conviction. Even in Jesus’ time, not every voice in that day was lifted against Him. Some people knew Who He was and proclaimed Him openly. For instance, John the Baptist got it right, (John 1:29-34), the Angels got it right, (Luke 2:9-14), the old man Simeon got it right, (Luke 2:25-35), old Mama Anna got it right, (Luke 2:36-38), the dying thief got it right, (Luke 23:42), the Roman Centurion got it right (Mark 15:39), the blind man got it right, (John 9:38), the crowds outside Jerusalem got it right, (John 12:1), and even the demons got it right, (Mark 5:7). What are people saying about Jesus in our day? Or what are you saying about this Jesus, Who is He to you?

The Power of the Tongue on US Election by Prophet TB Joshua

A few days before the United States of America November 3, 2020, presidential elections Prophet TB Joshua of SCOAN told the world what God had revealed to him at the Prayer Mountain. He said, “What is happening in the American election is as a result of the power in the tongue. The word we speak determines the life we enjoy (Proverbs 6:2). The tongue can either work for us or against us – death and life lie in the tongue (Proverbs 18:21)”.

What is unfolding after the said US 2020 presidential election had been foretold by Prophet TB Joshua in very simple by graphic details. How the tongue of candidates had affected the outcomes. Apart from running what looks that abusive and combative campaigns certain candidates also instructed their supporters in battleground states not to vote early but in persons. We now know that in Georgia for example 20,000 of such supporters couldn’t make it in person on Election Day and didn’t vote by mailing either following their leaders’ words. In the end, the numbers between the winner and the loser are fewer than 13,000 votes.

You may be wondering, why it is so important that we take control of our tongues. James 1:26 says, “Anyone who says he is a Christian but doesn’t control his sharp tongue is just fooling himself, and his religion isn’t worth much.” Hence we must not only be Christians who attend church services every time the door is opened, but we must also fill our mouths with word of psalms, word of praise and rejoicing. This is so important to Prophet TB Joshua that he has made “Faith Bracelets” for his followers to keep us in a constant mood of meditation rather than filling our mouths with criticism, complaining, gossiping, or backbiting each other.

Prophet TB Joshua also said, “There is likely going to be pockets of resistance here and there but nothing will change.” Our prayer is that the citizens of the United States of America will go through their trying period successfully. The internal division within their society can result in a major civil war or a lingering division that will put their constitution into the test. With God, all things are possible, if only the society would listen and obey the Word of God. Emmanuel.

God Shall Provide Rest for His Followers

God will provide rest for His faithful followers who are troubled, those who are being persecuted, and for us also when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and His glorious power. When Jesus comes on that day, He will receive glory from His holy people, and praise from all who believe. This fellowship includes everyone who must have given their life to Jesus, for they have believed what the scriptures and the prophets of God have told them about Jesus, the Saviour of all mankind.

This is why SCOAN, led by its Bishop, Prophet TB Joshua, keep on praying for you, asking God to enable you to live a life worthy of Jesus’ calling. May He give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honoured because of the way you live, and you will be honoured along with Him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ, (1 Thessalonians 1:7-12).

Specifically, our love and prayers continually go to those who unfortunately lost their lives on September 14, 2014, within SCOAN guest house premises. The Almighty and all-knowing Sovereign God, from whom nothing is hidden, shall reveal the truth at His time. Meanwhile, we warn every Christian to expect some persecution, especially these perilous times. Such persecution may take different forms such as discrimination, religious bias, killing, and every other systematic mistreatment either on basis of an individual or a group of individuals, because of their faith in Jesus Christ.

Every follower of Jesus ought to remain focused on our ordination and calling that we should go and bring forth fruit and that our fruit should remain. In accomplishing this glorious commission Jesus commands that we should also love one another, working for Him in one accord. Peradventure the world hates us in the process that we need to remember that it hated Jesus also and nailed Him on the cross. Secondly, if we were of the world, the world would love his own. Since we are not of the world, but followers of Jesus, therefore the world hates every true Christian. Jesus said, “The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also”, (John 15:16-20).

Therefore as we continue to pay tribute to those who lost their lives on that fateful day, Christians who had clung to their faith to their deaths. Our condolences go to their families, their loved ones, SCOAN families, Emmanuel partners and Prophet TB Joshua. Unfortunately, there is a growing Christian martyr now. Stephen was the first Christian martyr in the New Testament. The blood of these martyrs, (witnesses for Jesus), and all those who continue to give their lives for Christ, represent a powerful and attractive witness for Christianity and a curse for the adversary Satan. We pray that their souls rest in perfect peace. Finally, brethren, we should always remember the word of Jesus to His disciples when He said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God and believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am”, (John 1:1-3). Emmanuel!

Flee From the Coming Wrath of God Now that You Can

When John the Baptist saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?” (Matthew 3:7). For John the Baptist to have addressed the Pharisees and Sadducees this harsh way indicates that the prophet was ready to pierce them with the true sword of the Spirit and not just to show them only its handle. Many a minister of our days would probably be looking for more disciples, for more tithe payers, and therefore ordinarily adopt milder language than that, choosing more attractive themes, fearing that they will drive their listeners away if they are too personal, and speak too harshly. They let people see only the bright diamonds, silver, or gold on the scabbard, but never let them feel the sharpness of the two-edged blade. They always comfort, and console, and cheer, they are motivational speakers, but never allude to the terrors of the Lord. John the Baptist was bold throughout his ministry as a forerunner of the Lord Jesus Christ, for which he was born. John requests each of us to come up with true evidence that we’re a born again child of God, daily walking with Jesus.

It should be noted that a Pharisee, is a very religious man, one who observes all the details of external worship, and is very careful even about the most trivial matter. He is a firm believer in the resurrection, in angels and spirits, and in all that was written in the Book of the Law of Moses, and also in all the traditions of his father. He is a man consumed with external righteousness, a ritualist of the first order, who feels that, if there was a righteous man in the world, he certainly would be that person. He must have been greatly taken aback when John talked to him about the wrath of God and told him that that wrath was as much for him as for others. No self-righteousness would screen anyone from the anger of God against injustice, lawlessness, idolatry, and all forms of transgression except we “flee from the coming wrath of God.”

On the other hand, we have the Sadducee who was equally taken aback by John’s stern language. A Sadducee is also a religious man, but he combines with his religion greater thoughtfulness than the Pharisee does. He does not believe in traditions, he is too broadminded to care about the little details and externals of religion. He observes the Law of Moses, but he clings rather to the letter of it rather than to its spirit, and he does not accept all that is revealed, for he denies that there is such a thing as an angel, a spirit or a resurrection. He is a man of liberal ideas, fully abreast of the age. He professes to be a Hebrew of the Hebrews but yet, at the same time, the yoke of religion rests very lightly upon his shoulders. He is not irreligious but here is John the Baptist talking to him, as well as to the Pharisee, about “the coming wrath for which everyone must flee.”

Fleeing from the coming wrath of God now that we still can is what Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, (SCOAN), has as the “Year of Humility” coming upon humanity. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (Hebrews 10:31). It is not just a prophecy anymore but that it has come. In God’s order of time a year may run for a thousand years our own, or one year our own a thousand years of God’s acts could take place. A “Year of Humility” is just a description and God determines its actual length, breadth, width and overall impact; but the prophet said that “everyone will be humbled to the core” Hence let us think of the danger which overtakes all men who do not flee from it. There is a wrath of God, which remains on every ungodly man. Whether we like that truth or not it is written, “God is a righteous judge, a God who expresses His wrath every day” (Psalm 7:11) and, also, “Whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (John 3:18). Yet again, “Whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him” (John 3:36).

John the Baptist said to the Pharisees and Sadducees, “Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?” What our prophet is telling us is that we cannot bear nor endure God’s wrath but we must flee from it. What does this mean? How do we flee from the coming wrath? Yes, we must escape. If we remain where we are now, we will certainly perish because we are living in the City of Destruction, a Condemned City which is about to be overwhelmed with the fiery flood of “the coming wrath.” We must be desperate to escape immediately from it before judgment is executed on the place and on everyone who is in it. John the Baptist said that there is no going to Heaven by following the road leading to Hell Avenue therefore there must be a turn back, repentance. Note how John puts it; “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance” (Matthew 3:8). The evidence of true repentance is a new life in Christ Jesus.

Covid-19 has already humbled the entire world, infecting millions, will eventually also kill in millions, creating joblessness and economic pandemic in its waves. But that’s not what John the Baptist is telling us because Jesus tells us whom to fear more. In (Matthew 10:28) Jesus said, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which can destroy both soul and body in hell”. Therefore the humility will come in multiple dimension except we truly bear fruit of repentance.

Already we are amazed, not just about the prophecies coming out of SCOAN and their fulfilments, but much more about their corresponding dynamic step in Faith reaching out to nations for healing and deliverance. Jesus is thus being greatly honoured whilst science and humanity are being humbled. The “Distance not a Barrier to the Move of God” by SCOAN is beyond academic research and human wisdom which mustn’t be taken lightly. In the new normal, where everyone is humbled in a facemask, social distancing or kept in isolation centres we look to Jesus to set us free. This is where Prophet TB Joshua and his team will continue to provide a spiritual lead and guidance as God will direct them. Emmanuel

The Wold Should Keep On Watching Emmanuel TV

The Emmanuel TV, of the Synagogues Church of All Nations (SCOAN), was launched on March 8, 2007, with the slogan, “Changing Lives, Changing Nations, Changing the World”. Hitherto in the late 1990s the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of SCOAN, began to gain international attention especially through video cassettes showing Prophet TB Joshua’s early ministry in miracles and charity. At that time SCOAN was airing its programmes on State Nigerian televisions. But under the instruction of the then President Olusegun Obasanjo (President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999-2007) the Nigeria National Broadcasting Commission banned Ministries showing miracles on TV in 2004. Thereafter SCOAN broadcasts were taken off the air. This created a necessity for the emergence of Emmanuel TV on March 8, 2007. All along, either through the cassettes, state televisions, or now Emmanuel TV, SCOAN has always broadcasts Christian programmes, with the singular mission to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to all mankind.

The purposes of general broadcasting and Christian Programmes broadcasting in particular in our contemporary days are numerous. Otherwise, why would Prophet TB Joshua, right from its inception, keep his Ministry works in cassettes, broadcasting them on paid National TVs and now owning a whole Emmanuel TV with all its huge attendance costs? The need to inform, educate all people about Jesus Christ in these last days implies we leave no stone unturned. In the case of SCOAN and Prophet TB Joshua, the opposition comes from every direction and to counter a few of the people have to see the work in SCOAN openly. Of course, believers also need some inspiration and a positive sense that Jesus is alive and remains the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  Also, so many fields in the world are difficult terrains for one-on-one evangelism. The Scriptures are disallowed from entering such societies or from circulation. But Emmanuel TV Channel, in addition to its YouTube Channel, and slogans such as, “Distance Is Not A Barrier”, “Pray Along’ with Prophet T.B. Joshua”, “Touch the Screen”, is reaching every corner of the globe with resulting testimonies.

The SCOAN Chapel in Ikotun Egbe Lagos is a most-visited Christian or religious centre worldwide of our time and Prophet TB Joshua the most renowned living prophet of this generation according to http://www.Ranker.com survey of 250 million votes worldwide. The Emmanuel.TV Channel cannot show all that happens in the Chapel because many of the “Big Time Visitors” choose not to be recorded on tape or come at Nicodemus night time. But one thing everyone should know about Prophet TB Joshua is his humility and ability to keep our secrets. When Prophet TB Joshua is in the spirit and you’re fortunate to sit around him he knows all about you. He knows whether you are a thief, a fornicator, a witch, a liar, a Christian that has been struggling but failing, and he also knows about the way out. This unique hiding characteristic of our prophet makes him stand out from all others. Emmanuel TV is not created to promote him but to expose the work of Satan and promote the Lord Jesus Christ and His coming kingdom. The world needs the Emmanuel TV Channel.

Some Christians had thought that broadcasting the Gospel of Jesus Christ on Radio or Television was the devil’s work. However many ministries, including TB Joshua’s Ministries, have turned that around to mean that a world on fire needs the flames of the Holy Ghost to quench those evil flames and that there is no hiding place for such evil spirits. Emanuel TV Channel is sending some Holy Ghost flames to quench thirsty souls and feed stomachs that are empty with the Living Word. We don’t know what Paul and Silas would say about TB Joshua’s Ministries but they wouldn’t classify him as one preaching another gospel, or building on a different foundation. Today, unfortunately, many popular ministries are built on different foundations and promoting a different Jesus Christ and yet they are too quick in castigating others. Emmanuel TV has come to improve on Christian Broadcasting in such a way that people in distant places still feel the power of Jesus Christ touching them. Through the Channel words of exhortation go out with power to,”…warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble-minded, support the weak, encouraging none to render evil for evil but to follow what is good. . .”, (1 Thessalonians 5:14-15).

Has Emmanuel TV arrived at its peak? No, but it is growing with Prophet TB Joshua who launched it 13 years ago when he was 45 years old. Nevertheless, all of us in the SCOAN family, including every Emmanuel TV Partner, need to keep working to build and improve the Channel so that the rest of the World will Keep Watching it to stay in faith with Jesus our Lord and Saviour. Therefore it is not all up to TB Joshua alone working to improve our world in this age of decadency when a harlot would command an imperial king to give her the head of a John the Baptist, (Mark 6: 24-25). On the contrary, we are working so that such kings in the midst will have the courage to install Emmanuel TV in any part of their palaces. Question & Answer With TB Joshua On Face Masks

QUESTION: My elderly mum and dad have started wearing their face masks permanently because of fear of contracting COVID-19 and only removing them when they want to eat because they need to use their mouth to eat. I am concerned this can be dangerous. How can I advise them?

ANSWER: Following global health guidelines during this period of COVID-19, the government is insisting on the use of face masks in public places – along with social distancing and handwashing. Face masks can be a very good thing but they can also be dangerous when they are not used properly or when they are not made with the proper material.

The government has asked you to wear face masks when you are in public places, in the midst of people, on the streets, in vehicles when you are not alone. The government is doing this to help you. They are not asking you to wear it 24 hours a day. There should be a time at home when you remove it. But some people are wearing their face masks for long periods of time. Breathing the same air in and out or not getting enough air while breathing – all of this can affect your health, cause headaches, fatigue and worsen existing health challenges.

So let us be careful of the amount of time we wear the face mask and also of the kind of material our face masks are made out of. For many, the chemicals used to make such material can be dangerous to inhale. NOTE: The face mask is your personal mask. It should be clean and made of proper material. This requires your discretion, viewers.

Right now, let us pray. Whatever is affecting your discretion – reason well, in the name of Jesus Christ! Reason according to God’s direction, in the name of Jesus Christ! Reason in line with God, in Jesus’ name! Viewers, sometimes hardship can influence our reasoning. Sometimes joblessness can influence our reasoning. Sometimes fear can influence our reasoning. Sometimes pressure can influence our reasoning. Right now, begin to reason well, in the name of Jesus! Begin to reason in line with God, in the name of Jesus! Begin to do the right thing, in Jesus’ name! Do the right thing, in Jesus’ name! In Jesus’ name we pray!

We would like to use this time to salute our governor of Lagos State, Governor Sanwo-Olu. Indeed, he’s one of a kind. If you look at his activity at this critical time, it can be compared to the New York governor who is always on the national news to update the general public and to educate them. Our governor wants to see his people and he wants to see them living well. We pray God will increase his capacity to do more, in Jesus’ name!

Our Shelter is in the Name of the Lord

Regular worshipers at the Synagogue, Church of All Nations, SCOAN, Lagos, Nigeria have come to the understanding that they have “A Sanctuary” that is their “Arena of Liberty”. We hope and pray to return to normal worship therein soonest. That is a place where people find refuge, protection, healing, deliverance and justice. They make confessions and they are immune from arrest. Whether the depth of their freedom is completely clear to those making this claim is one thing, but once they arrive SCOAN they often understand that they experience freedom from evil spiritual attacks. They enjoy peace of mind and a great level of security from fear or anxiety.

This may be why several people across the globe, watching Emmanuel.tv, ask Prophet TB Joshua if a Christian can even be sick let alone be attacked by a coronavirus. Remember in Matthew 4:6 Satan asked Jesus to throw Himself down to prove that He is the Son of God. At the crucifixion, the robber on the left (representing the spirit of Satan) similarly asked Jesus to prove Himself as the Son of God by saving Himself and two robbers. When Christians think like this they must be careful not to assume that they have arrived in heaven where there’d be no sickness. Instead, we should come to Jesus like the penitent thief on the “Right”, recognising Jesus, pleading for Jesus’ mercy and seeking refuge. A Christian can’t be self-righteous because we are all saved by grace. In Proverbs 18:10 we read that “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it and is safe.”  Hence, at SCOAN’s Arena of Liberty, the strength of the building and its walls are not the measuring parameters of level security but the name of the Lord Jesus and His presence therein.

Prophet TB Joshua’s teachings and conducts are excellently profoundly accurate, even when they look simple. It is delusion and false teaching that if you follow Jesus everything will be trouble-free and without care, without sickness. Jesus is our rock and fortress in desperate times. SCOAN is resting on the word of Jesus which says, “Come all who are weary and heavy-laden and I (Jesus) will give you rest”.  All who seek Jesus’ shelter, and cling to His to everlasting promises of truth and unconditional love that never runs dry, find safety and peace.

This isn’t to underestimate the immeasurable protection we enjoy under the name of Jesus anywhere we are. For example, Taipei 101 is considered one of the safest and strongest buildings in this modern era. The tower is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes. It is a cultural icon of technology in Taiwan. But even with all of these features, it pales in comparison to the strength and security that’s found in the one who abides in the Lord Jesus and His precepts. When the trials of life come like a tidal wave to consume us we can take refuge in Jesus. His strength is made perfect in our moment of weakness. He does not cause the sickness or the storms but He can use them to shape our resolve in His ability to provide whatever is needed to overcome them. Jesus is our Saviour and our Lord in all our situations, a very present help in our troubled times.  Emmanuel!!!

QUESTION – I was watching international news and saw US President Donald Trump threaten to cut off ties with China. Prophet TB Joshua, what would happen if America truly cuts ties with China?

ANSWER: “America’s concentration is on big things while China concentrates on small things, e.g. manufacturing and agricultural goods – what developing nations need. Remember, 70-80% of the world are developing nations. What they need to grow, to live and to improve is what China is concentrating on. I think America should learn this lesson. This is what they should turn to.

China is using all these little things to get money from developing nations – and that is making them the richest in the world. It is trade by barter. It has made developing nations to see China as their hope. For example, a product in America may cost 500 and last long, because it is durable. The same product in China may cost 100 but not last long. However, developing nations will still choose China’s products because such products are within their reach. That makes many nations to become debtors to China – even America.”

 

Uproar Over TB Joshua’s Prayer Mountain Visit

I was mildly surprised recently to read a barrage of vitriolic tweets aimed towards none other than the amiable Pastor of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), TB Joshua. I use the term ‘mildly’ because I know he’s a controversial character whose actions usually tend to provoke strong reactions from both scales of the religious spectrum. However, the subject for this particular session of ‘online dragging’ by sharp-tongued critics was difficult to muster. Pictures and video had surfaced of the prominent cleric during a four-day prayer session at an “undisclosed prayer mountain”, in which he offered supplications regarding the world crisis, leaders, doctors, pastors and the coronavirus pandemic.

What baffles me is how the vicious scrutiny these ‘records’ received were so utterly disproportionate to their contents and the constructive message they conveyed. The main grouse of the ‘keyboard warriors’ was the fact that a cameraman followed the cleric for his prayers and such records were subsequently presented to the public. But such an argument is an almost audacious display of ignorance. It’s pertinent to point out that TB Joshua is the founder of a massive media organisation called Emmanuel TV, which commands considerable worldwide viewership.

As an Emmanuel TV viewer myself, I can attest that one of Joshua’s regular programs is a session called ‘prayer for viewers’ in which he offers a variety of prayers for his listeners, the efficacy of which is seen in the multitudinous testimonies that follow. Why then should the fact that the cleric prayed publicly for his viewers – as is his customary practice – elicit such a strange backlash? It is entirely reasonable for a ‘man of people’ of TB Joshua’s stature to inform his viewers regarding his movements and offer reassuring prayers at such a time of uncertainty and fear.

Let me equally point out that ‘the man in the Synagogue’ has an almost giddy reputation for maintaining impeccable records of his life and ministry. The documentary of his life is itself an eye-opener. When the young cleric in several open-air huts surrounded by mostly children declared the beginning of his church in 1989 – a time when his name registered zero recognition – a camera was there to record The SCOAN’s birth. What prompted such a gallant conviction if not a vision of Divine origins?

The records faithfully written in the Bible serve as the basis and inspiration for the faith of millions of believers. The technological advancements of the 21st century have simply enabled an ‘upgrade’ in the manner in which records are kept – a secret TB Joshua has clearly unlocked and championed. Pushing religious inclinations aside, all lovers of technology would agree that the quality of Emmanuel TV’s broadcasting trumps every other local channel in Nigeria. Joshua has tapped into the extraordinary potential of media and social media to reach people with his message and mission. Instead of asking why the cleric would engage in such a broadcast, the question should rather be why wouldn’t he record the prayer for his 1.7million YouTube subscribers and four million Facebook followers?

Another set of moaners on this trending topic arbitrarily quoted the Scripture in Matthew 6 that calls on believers to pray in a secret place rather than the Pharisees who prayed “to be seen by others”. This argument also falls flat under minimal scrutiny. TB Joshua was at ‘the mountain for four days – at least 96 hours – and Emmanuel TV viewers will know he has visited such hallowed grounds for pilgrimage on numerous occasions without any attendant ‘noise’. So, why would anyone use a 15-minute clip to draw sweeping conclusions on the actions and motives of a man who sacrificed fleshly comforts in the wilderness for the purpose of prayer at a time of global crisis? Surely all citizens, regardless of their religious affiliations, desire the end to this pandemic and its associated repercussions and thus agree with the premise of his prayers?

Finally, I dare any diligent believer to watch TB Joshua’s sermons and deny that the man is not thoroughly grounded in God’s Word with remarkable spiritual maturity! The substance of TB Joshua’s teachings clearly flows from a heart deeply engaged with God. Simply put, TB Joshua is a man of prayer; what we saw in the viral photographs was the public overflow of private commitment – recorded and shown for the glory of God and shame of the devil.

“THE PRICE OF OIL WILL DROP DRASTICALLY!” – PROPHET TB JOSHUA

Starting twelve years ago, Prophet TB Joshua gave a series of prophecies concerning the current economic crisis, specifically mentioning how the price of oil “will drop drastically” On December 28th 2008, he said: “There will be economic crisis. You are to cut your coat according to your size… It’s coming and it’s everywhere. You will be forced to be humble. There will be economic war. Countries that rely on mineral resources like oil – they should quickly look beyond oil. I am telling you long time prophecy, not immediate. You can begin to prepare yourself now. Remember, trial is the soil in which faith flourishes. As a faith man, there is no fear.”

On October 16th 2011, he said: “The war the whole world will face now is economic war. You will see every nation, every country will come out, going on the street protesting. Everyone will be humbled. Those who rely on oil, they should look beyond. There is something God wants to achieve concerning this – God wants to achieve humility to the core. He wants everyone to be on their knees, every nation to be on their knees. After that, the solution will come. That is what God wants to achieve. Whatever you have now – cut your coat according to your size.”

On December 29th 2013, he said: “Cash flow – forget it. People will be broke; countries will be broken. A single person can be richer than a country. Your oil – you will drink them. Whatever your country has discovered in terms of mineral resources – and it has been a source of income, causing corruption, causing fights, people living flamboyantly – those things, nobody will buy them. The price will drop drastically.”

Coronavirus: There is An Error in Advanced Technology

ANSWER: “You know I am not a politician. I just have to give you as the Spirit gave me because I received this message four days ago from the Holy Spirit. World leaders and scientists know what they are doing; they know what is happening. That is why they keep promoting fear and panic. “Now we have seen what it means to be locked down in a ‘concentration camp’. This is an opportunity for our world leaders, our scientists to look at the trouble spots in the world, e.g., Syria so that the displaced people can return to their countries. Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), has prophesied this period we are in as a year of humility. What is the meaning of humility? Why should we be humble? It is very important for the Church, and indeed the world at large, to listen to this prophet. The cumulative effects of the “Fearful Year” he predicted are still with us. The epic of the fearful year is probably the ongoing COVID-19 that is ravaging the entire globe with no respect for any class of person, race or gender. The prophet had been correct all along, after all.

Humility is often characterized as genuine gratitude and lack of arrogance, a modest view of one’s self. It is a critical and continuous emphasis of godliness, as we are called upon to be humble followers of the Lord Christ and trust in the wisdom and salvation of God. Proverbs 22:4 gives us a deeper look into the scriptural meaning of humility. “Humility is the fear of the Lord,” as a very precise definition. Not only does being humble consist of trusting God and following his will, but furthermore fearing the consequences of neglecting God’s commands for truth, love, work ethic, mercy, and beyond. Humility is recognizing the magnificent power of God and the potential retribution He will condemn upon us if we do not aim our purpose towards righteousness. The prophecy for this period may also consist of meekness and a life of service and giving to humanity.

As an example of humility, we may recall the late Mother Teresa who was a teacher in a school in India. All her needs were met in the convent where she lived. However, she chose to give up her life in that convent to live with the poorest of the poor on the streets of Calcutta, taking care of the very sick and dying. She took care of people with whom no one else wanted to bother. The Missionaries of Charity is the name of the religious order Mother Teresa started. Women who join this order give up their possessions and live a life of great simplicity. When they find people dying in the streets and the slums, they take them into their hospitals, clean them up, give them medical care, and if they cannot recover, provide a clean and sanitary place to die with dignity. Similarly, Prophet TB Joshua has a Ministry of Giving as part of SCOAN regular activities around the globe. This was his first activity in many low neighbourhoods in Lagos from the late 1980s to 1990s. In this COVID-19 pandemic era, the Church has been praying and encouraging the public not to fear or panic but to be humble.

The world has indeed been humbled and brought to a low position where nations with high technologies in warfare are helpless before coronavirus. The Church of Christ will remain strong as one body of Christ, but many individual congregations may go underground or merge with others. It is a new revolution and everyone will be humbled, except we manifest the fear of the Lord. The new World Order will emerge after the year of humility to redefine the new international relationships and economic cooperation. No nation will be too strong to fail henceforth but those who rely solely on Jesus Christ will survive.  Philippians 2:3-11 says in part, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. ..”.

As we struggle through in this new era of humility, (because humility is not natural to man in the flesh full of ego), let us remember what the scripture says in 2 Chronicles 7:13-15, especially verse 13 that is very popular. “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence (COVID-19) among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place”. Our prayer is that God will continually put His word and message in the mouth of our prophet and those who are going to teach on this subject of humility until we all become like Christ Jesus.

In the United States of America, USA, the year 1933 was called “The Year of Fear” because of the then anticipatory rise in crimes. Government prohibition had led to a precipitous rise in crime, and some of the nation’s most infamous criminals engineered a string of mayhem and lawlessness such as America had never seen. When prohibition was repealed that year, these criminals looked elsewhere for quick sources of easy cash. They set their sights on kidnapping and government agents were given authority to chase kidnappers across state lines. The fear became distributed evenly between criminals and government agents. When Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, declared the year 2019 as “The Year of Fear”, the mind of some historians went to the USA of 1933 expecting a significant rise in all classes of crime, diseases, fire outbreaks, plane crashes, and other disasters. The prophet made it clear on a live service that the FEAR would continue till 27 March 2020 and when his prophecy of a following “Year of Humility” would follow.

His prophecy of the year of fear has been confirmed as we can all observe. The coronavirus or Lasa fever episodes are just the most recent sources of fear. In line with this is the prophet’s prophecy of rain and many reported cases of rain were heard same yesterday, March 1, 2020. The prophesized rain was for a blessing and to signal possibly the beginning of the end of the fear. The prophet spent a great time encouraging his viewers not to fear as Christians. It is the Lord’s doing and it makes our heart glad. Prophet TB Joshua together with his Emmanuel.tv broadcasting station is now becoming a global authority for the world to pay significant attention. It may not look scientific, or logical, but the information therein is profitable for living a successful and correct life.

In the Bible prophets of old were known for describing periods and years with tagged names. For example, year of rest Levi 25:5, Jubilee Levi 25:13, release Deut 25:9, tithing Deut 27:12, recompenses Isaiah 34:8, redemption Isaiah 63:4, visitation Jere 11:23, drought Jere 17:8 liberty Ezek 46:17, or the year of the Lord Like 4:19. Hence we are probably passing through “The Years of Prophet TB Joshua”, whether we know it or not. They are going to be called years of revival, years of persecution, or years of controversy and religion competition, depending on who you are. For me, Prophet TB Joshua has brought the Apostolic age of evangelism, redemption and renewal of the Christian faith across the globe. Again this is God’s doing and we are very glad.

Assuming we all successfully end the year of fear this March, according to the prophet, then what will the year of Humility bring? We either humble ourselves or the Lord will humble us by Himself. All the powers in heaves and on the earth are in His hand, hence we can’t possibly negotiate our way out.  Therefore according to Acts 20:19, our option is to “serve the Lord with all humility of mind along with many tears and temptations”. We may expect more persecution of the Church and the persecution of Christian leaders that are effective. In all that we ought to be like 1 Peter 5:5 by saying, “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble”. The prophet may need to teach us more on the subject of “Year of Humility”, as we enter it. Meanwhile, the prophesied year of Fear is ending. Thanks for this knowledge, but those who lack this knowledge would perish.

The Coronavirus and the Efficacy of the SCOAN Anointed Water

As good citizens of the world, we want to draw the attention of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations, and those nations that have been affected by this ravaging Coronavirus, especially, to the People’s Republic of China (PRC) where this killer virus has taken more lives, with much persons affected to seek the face of God for solution.

We should always know that God is the owner of the Universe. There is nothing impossible for Him to solve. Instead, of allowing innocent people to lose their lives. The government of these affected nations should quickly in humility come to The SCOAN and order for the anointed water, with collaborations from the United Nations and the WHO to be administered to the affected nations and persons.

It is time for the world to start embracing the things of God. The devil in his canny ways has continued to manipulate the ways of Mankind to go against the ways of God. God is so interested in our well being that even before the enemies of our soul strict, He has already created an avenue for our freedom.

The Anointed water has been proven beyond every reasonable doubt to be an effective instrument of God in curing all manners of infirmities and sickness.

We should not be quick to forget the role God used the Anointed Water to play as a medium during the outbreak of the Ebola Virus in some west Africa countries.

We all know how God used the anointed water to stop the spread of the deadly Ebola virus in the nation of Sierra Leone, this was despite the strong opposition from powerful international forces, due to their unbelief.

God sometimes allows some setting things to happens to us in other for Him to be able to prove Himself. I think God wants to use this present situation to bring a revival to Asian and especially, the nation of China. It is time the government and the people of China know that the God of Heaven and Earth has the answered to their present situation if they can humble themselves and seek for His help in the right place.

We are not in any way trying to advertise the Anointed water for any benefit. As you all know, it is a medium of God, freely received and freely given. We are simply making a genuine call from our heart because of our concern about the news going around on the spread and the unnecessary loss of life as a result of the killer Coronavirus.

The Chines government and other affected nations should take a lesson from the government of Sierra Leone.

As the wise Prophet will say, “When you run out of rope, it is time to grab onto Faith.”

If it is taking much time to get the medical cure to contain the spread of this killer virus, it is time to grab onto faith healing. Remember that it is only the living that can look for a cure.

Let’s save life first just as we are working on the research to get a medical solution to stop the Virus. Don’t you know God has the Medical solution already? Medicine is from nature and God is the owner of nature. With God everything is possible.

The age of miracle is not yet over, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever.

As students of the Bible, the former rain refers to the first Pentecost, that is the descending of the Holy Spirit on the disciples of Jesus after His Accession to Heaven. It was a big breakthrough for the earthly Church. It brought them renewed strength, boldness, encouragement, empowerment and growth. The latter rain refers to a future Pentecost. This message comes to mind when prophet TB Joshua, the Bishop and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Lagos Nigeria, recently prophesied of “a cooling rain” and then the coming of Seraphim. We are waiting for these events because TB Joshua has accurate prophesies and speaking what God sends him to.

The prophecy was probably and primarily meant for Nigeria but the entire global system is in complete chaos and disorder at the moment. We see rioting and protesting everywhere on our TV daily. Only a divine intervention can introduce a new peaceful and orderly system. With a dynamic man of God, Prophet TB Joshua, full of faith and commitment in Jesus Christ, awaiting the fulfilment of the coming calmness is with certainty.

It can be recalled that at a time the children of Israel were in similar distress and eventually God sent an angel to Gideon and empowered Gideon on the deliverance mechanism of Israel from their oppressors, (Judges 6). Whereas Gideon armed himself with 32,000 fighting men only 300 trumpeters were used by God. And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place, (Judges 7: 7).

Already many sections of the societies are taking their deep personal problem to The SCOAN for a guarantee solution because of Prophet TB Joshua. This is a personal achievement of an individual prophet of our time. What we pray for also is that all true believers of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to come together in one accord for the arrival of God’s latter rain that will bring calmness and genuine world peace. How TB Joshua Reconciled the Son of Liberia’s President with The Man Who Murdered His Father!

Why This Reconciliation Contributed To Peace In Liberia…

Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua has just returned from a peace-brokering mission in South Sudan where he led President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his cabinet in prayer for peace at the nation’s Presidential Palace.

However, records reveal this is not the cleric’s first intervention when it comes to brokering peace on a national scale.

In November 2000, Joshua oversaw a heartfelt reconciliation that touched the nation of Liberia between Samuel Doe Jr and the man responsible for gruesomely slaughtering his father, Prince Yormie Johnson.

In the height of Liberia’s brutal civil war, Johnson – then a rebel leader – captured President Samuel Doe in Monrovia and tortured him publicly before executing him in footage seen on news reports around the world.

“Every night I went to sleep, I prayed that one day God would give me to the opportunity to meet this man and kill him to revenge the death of my father,” Samuel Doe Jr publicly admitted during his visit to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN).

Doe Jr said he harbored this “grudge” for ten long years. Unbeknownst to him and his mother Nancy who came to seek prayers at The SCOAN, the former warlord had ‘repented’, become a Christian and was in attendance at Joshua’s church.

Spotting Johnson amidst the large church crowd, Doe Jr said he felt his blood “run cold” and looked for a weapon to enact revenge.

“I felt like running inside the kitchen to pick up a knife,” he recounted. However, Doe Jr was ‘supernaturally restrained’ from carrying out his vengeful intentions as he was “under the control of the Holy Spirit”.

After publicly confessing what was ‘hindering his salvation’, Joshua counselled the Doe family about the need for forgiveness, after which he prayed for them.

“If Jesus can forgive us of our sins, then who am I to hold a grudge against a child of God,” Samuel announced to rapturous applause from the congregation.

Prince Yormie Johnson then came forward from the crowd and the duo warmly embraced, subsequently joined by Liberia’s former First Lady Nancy Doe and TB Joshua.

In a meeting the next week, Johnson revealed the reconciliation went beyond just the two families but extended to the warring tribes in Liberia.

“This reconciliation will go a long way to unite our two ethnic groups. The war in Liberia started between us and the reconciliation will have to begin with us,” he revealed.

Liberia has enjoyed peace nationwide for over fifteen years and is steadily cementing its status as a growing democracy in West Africa.

Prince Yormie Johnson has since returned to Liberia as a Senator and plays an active role in his country’s politics.

In the run-up to Liberia’s last elections, Johnson visited The SCOAN with George Weah, eventually choosing to endorse the football legend, which proved pivotal to his eventual ascension to Liberia’s Presidency.

TB Joshua also played an important reconciliatory role in Tanzania in the wake of the divisive 2015 elections which saw John Magufuli emerge victorious.

Joshua visited the East African nation, holding extensive meetings with both President Magufuli and opposition leader Edward Lowassa, both of whom had previously visited his church in Lagos.

Citizens acknowledged Joshua’s visit significantly reduced the palpable tensions that existed in the aftermath of the disputed elections and restored peace to the nation.

Ihechukwu Njoku
