Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Secret Exposed On TB Joshua

After our articleWar in the Church, Many against TB Joshua Part 1 and Part 2 was published, thousands of people wrote to us thinking we are SCOAN and wanted to know why we took so long to respond to some of the disturbing allegations made by some Pastors in Nigeria against TB Joshua.

Editor’s note:

We wish to inform all our readers that Watching TB Joshua has nothing to do with the SCOAN. We are individuals operating from Canada, USA, and Holland. To know more about us please check the about us page

In this article we are featuring a Pastor Chidi Daniel a member of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria, begging Prophet TB Joshua for forgiveness. Many may wonder why but the truth is “where there is no guilt there is no apology”

If we cherish evil thoughts, the LORD God will not hear us. And when we stand praying, if we have anything against anyone, forgive them; so that our Father in heaven may also forgive our offenses. Listen to this pastor’s confession in asking for forgiveness to the Man of God. Watch and be set free In Jesus’ Name.

We shall publish other members of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria shortly

War in the Church, Many against TB Joshua Part 1

When you are called by God and a great anointing is bestowed on you, it becomes a source of jealousy, envy and back

stabbing. Many Judases rise from within and outside your own fold to destroy and to tarnish your image. But as it is often said, what people don’t understand, they call names.

It all started when Archbishop Idahosa came out strongly against Prophet T.B. Joshua to the extent of questioning his

Ayo Oritejafor

calling and pronouncing a death sentence on him by saying next year by this time he T.B. Joshua would be no more. Idahosa is known very much for his verbal vituperations and curses but this time the curse rather fell on him. He met his untimely death the year he exactly gave for T.B. Joshua to pass on. Words are powerful and people must be careful in the way they speak or talk. People should refrain at all cost in pronouncing curses on others.

Another Pentecostal big wig and leader of the PFN in Nigeria, Ayo Oritejafor was less charitable, and demanded to know, ‘who tutored T.B. Joshua as a pastor in the first place’. He went on further to say, ‘If T.B. Joshua can show me his pastor who pastored him before he said he was called into the ministry; if T.B. Joshua can tell me when he got converted and how he got converted, then we would consider him. Anybody who is a Christian is a Christian because he received Jesus Christ at a point’.

Pastor E.A. Adeboye

This is quite laughable, does the anointing come from tutors and role models? The anointing comes from God who gives liberally. Indeed, T.B Joshua never attended a Charismatic church pastored by the likes of Ayo, Adeboye and Idahosa but was a member of the Anglican Church where he served God faithfully and The Lord bestowed on him a mighty anointing which has become a source of envy. Thank God, T.B. Joshua was not tutored by the likes of Idahosa and Ayo. They transformed Christianity in to a commercial venture, a multi- business conglomerate with worldwide subsidiaries all with the idea of lacing their pockets with billions of naira to satisfy their insatiable demand for fame and power. To them, the poor did not matter as they believed it is nonsense to remain poor in the mist of plenty. They laid the foundation of the prosperity ministry in Nigeria. Where in the bible did Jesus talk or preach about prosperity? Jesus cared about the poor, sick and the vulnerable in society and he illustrated this by the story of the Good Samaritan.

Adeboye on the other hand had this to say, ‘If he T.B. Joshua wants me to

come and minister in his church, we will sit down; we will discuss the issue of salvation the way I understand it, according to the scriptures. If we agree on that and he now wants me to come and preach the same message of salvation in his church, then I will go.”

Such balderdash! Who made Adeboye an expert on salvation? Holding a doctorate does not make you an expert on

salvation. It is now becoming increasingly clear that those who criticise T.B. Joshua do so because they feel he is not one of them, he is not up to their standard, he has not go a title (Nigerians love titles Dr. Dr. etc) and they do not know where he got his anointing from. If I were them, I would ask God where he got his anointing from. But one thing is certain, they do not hear from God. They are imposters caught up in drama, shouting on top of their voices deceiving many and

siphoning monies from an unsuspecting congregation, promising them 24 hour miracles from God. These self styled pastors ride in the latest and most expensive cars on the planet. And the mega rich out of them have jet planes. Where are we heading to? Those who attend their churches do so not because of the salvation of their souls but because they want to enjoy the niceties of life and to be like their pastors.

Networking has become the order of the day among pastors all with the sole idea of associating themselves with mega rich pastors in America to be given the opportunity to preach in their churches and thereby raise monies for their lavish lifestyles. A pastor friend one day said to me ‘after salvation, what else?’ His answer was obvious, riches!

With such mentality, how can you advance the work of God? And they have the audacity to talk about salvation and that they are educated enough talk about such topics.

In part 2 we shall write on the ex disciple of TB Joshua and the lifstyle of TB Joshua.

‘Fabricated’ stories of the ‘TB Joshua Watch gang’

TB Joshua Watch……….an outstanding example of paradigm paralysis, tainted by deceit and obnoxious insinuations. It is very sad to see and read the ‘fabricated’ stories and account of the ‘gang’ propagating the evil attacks on SCOAN as a ministry and the person of Prophet T B Joshua. Suffice to say that, it is now quite evident that the people behind this ’evil project’ are the disgruntled elements, who for whatever reason they became followers and workers in this ministry for the ‘many’ years had not accomplished their

mission, or their own agenda.

Who first enticed or forced them into this ministry anyway? Because of their selfish and dubiously motivated reasons, and because they could not ‘achieve’ what they desired, consequently decided to be the strong attackers of this ministry. It is quite sad to witness this, for whatever it is worth, come on…..seems the whole issue is tantamount to the skin colour. Am sure that if TBJ were to be of the other skin colour, oh……it would be a different kettle of fish indeed!

It is quite apparent that the postings and so called ‘comments’ on their ‘venture’ are all concocted, because as they claim they still have ‘loved ones’ in the ministry. These so called former disciples and workers in the vineyard had given and narrated their ‘own side’ of why they left. Really we don’t get it, what point are they making? As we said earlier, we do not and will never incite anyone to come forward to tell stories about how and why they left SCOAN, the postings and comments we publish are well scrutinised before hand , because we will never be part of words trading and counter accusations, or preside over others to judge and watch them. All we are doing is to establish and foster good, spirit-filled relationship with Children of God for the salvation of their souls, just like by-line of Emmanuel TV…….Changing Lives, Changing Nations, Changing the World. As we know as children of Most High….The evidence of Christ is Life Changed. We know indeed that BETTER IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

TB Joshua watch’s intolerance to undeniable healing proofs

‘Perhaps we have not been clear enough in the points we’ve made’, says T.B Joshua watch.  They go on further to say, ‘To be absolutely clear, we believe that:

  1. Personal faith is an essential element of the Christian’s life, and played a key part in many (though not all) of the healing miracles in the bible.
  2. Righteous living is important and some sickness is the direct result of an unhealthy and/or sinful lifestyle.

However, these are not the issues we are getting at. These two scenarios illustrate our concern:

  1. Arthur (not a real person) is HIV+, but after prayer he is healed. He goes to the doctor who confirms his healing and gives him the go ahead to come off his ARV medication. Several years later he is living a promiscuous lifestyle and he again contracts HIV. He has not lost his healing, he has “re-contracted” HIV through not maintaining a responsible and healthy lifestyle.’

I f T.B. Joshua watch has confirmed that personal faith is essential to one’s healing then why the fuss? The contradictions and insincerity in their writing is glaring for any Christian to see. If they have been honest enough by admitting ‘they have not been clear enough in the points we’ve made’ then it is a tacit admission of not knowing what they are talking about concerning the things of righteous living and the ‘maintaining of your healing’. They need to go back to the bible and learn. I admonish them to read Proverbs 6:6 ‘go to the ant, you sluggard, consider her ways, and be wise. A wise person does not pour scorn on the things of God, does not slander, do not hold grudges.

I refer you to read below an interesting article I sent some time ago that prompted the TB Joshua Watch response and I am now reproducing it again.

Correct understanding of key scriptures

Let’s look now at Psalm 103. Here we find the “benefits” of serving God. Look at verse 3 closely. Some say that in this verse God promises to heal every illness as surely as he promises to forgive every sin. But God does not promise to forgive our sins unconditionally. We do not experience the results of his forgiveness if we do not repent.

Neither does God promise unconditionally to heal us every time. Just as in the case of forgiveness of sin, there are conditions. In the case of healing, the conditions are often faith and obedience, but always the condition of what is best for the person’s eternal life — God’s will for the person!

Healing has a condition that forgiveness of sin does not — namely, the condition of what God deems best in our life. But this is only because it is always in our best interest to be forgiven immediately, but not always in our best long-term interest to have the suffering of illness instantly removed (1 Pet. 5:10).

Now let’s examine James 5:14-16. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Does this passage promise that God will heal everyone every time? Although the statement, “and the Lord will raise him up” appears on the surface to be written without qualification, it sits amidst the rest of the Bible and is qualified by it. Every verse of the Bible must be read in the context of the whole Bible — not in isolation.

Here, as in every other case of a request for answered prayer, is the implied condition of healing being in the best interest of the party. It is an implied condition, but it is stated by the Bible to apply to all prayer! “If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14).

Some commentators have noted that the word translated save in James 5:15 is a Greek word that is used only a few times in the Bible in reference to a person being made well from sickness (e.g., Mark 6:56). The vast majority of times this word is used in the New Testament, it is used in the sense of spiritual salvation. Likewise, the word translated raise in this same verse can mean “to rouse from sleep or lift up as from a bed or floor,” but most often is used in the New Testament to represent the resurrection from the dead (see Matthew 10:8; 11:5; 14:2; 16:21, etc.).

Thus James in this verse uses terminology that can refer not only to physical healing, but also to the spiritual resurrection from the dead (also based on conditions not stated here but found elsewhere in the Bible).

We must address here a related point. One view of James 5:14-15 is that James meant that God heals every time — but he heals some now and some at the resurrection of the dead.

It is true that God heals some now and that in the resurrection the saints will have perfect, immortal bodies. But this is not the right way to explain why God does not heal every time in this life. Eventual healing of the body by the resurrection is not what sick people are asking for in their prayers to be healed. They already know they will not be sick in their resurrected state.

God has promised to heal us, but has set conditions on such healing — the conditions of faith and allegiance to God, and always the condition of God’s will.

These conditions may seem easy to understand. But when a person becomes ill, these simple concepts can become confused. Usually the confusion is over the matter of faith, although it may be stated in the form of questions such as, “If God loves me, how can he see me suffer and not intervene?” Or, “How can I have faith that God will heal me if I don’t know whether it is his will to do so now?”

To answer these important questions, we must look at the oft-misunderstood but vital connection between faith and healing.

I want T.B. Joshua watch to understand this, we are not in competition with any other ministry or corporate body and so we do not care if millions exchanged emails on the sky and BBC report. Numbers are not the issue if you have God in your corner.

We maintain the healings are tangible and they cannot deny them merely because the have fallen out with SCOAN. Their families and siblings recognise this and have decided to work and stand solidly by SCOAN. If their families are now conducting healing services and people are being healed it shows that God is involved. In one of their write ups they complained bitterly about their ‘loved ones still holed up in Lagos’ and not wanting to leave. Who wants to leave the presence of God? TB Joshua watch has lost the argument. Shifting on every ground, from claiming they have no evidence on the sexual abuse claim to not have been clear enough on their points. This should tell you a lot about the people we are dealing with.
