Is TB Joshua not another religious fraudster?

tb joshua, scoan
Prophet TB Joshua

Rejected for Christ. I live in the UK and have been following TB Joshua’s ministry for several years now. I cannot help noticing that many out there seem to mock SCOAN and rebuke his ministry. Am I surprised? No, not at all, as they did exactly the same to Jesus in His time. People accused Jesus of being both demonic (Matthew 12:22-32) and a fraudster (Luke 23:11).

It’s seems to be the way of the world. If people don’t understand something or can’t achieve it for themselves then they just have to tear it down. I’m a disabled middle-aged woman from the UK with a serious genetic disorder. I’ve never been able to travel to SCOAN in Lagos. I’ve never even met TB Joshua, so how can I be so certain that he really is a prophet of God? Some might say it’s just wishful thinking on my part. After all my son has inherited my disorder too, so maybe I just want to believe there is a cure out there for both of us? Some might even say I’m desperate enough to believe in anything. Actually, I’d say the opposite.

I wouldn’t risk putting all my hope in false promises. If anything, such claims might make someone like me even more wary, especially if I followed the negative feedback out there. It would just be cruel to give my son false hope. Yes, I am a Christian, but my son isn’t, so the last thing I’d want to do is let my son witness that my faith in a prophet of God is wrong. I also know that Jesus warned us to be wary of false prophets, those who come in sheep’s clothing but are in fact ravenous like wolves (Matthew 7:15-20). So why haven’t I joined the line of sceptic’s out there who believe that TB Joshua is just another religious fraudster, like so many before him? After all there are loads of fake ministries out there making tons of money out of people’s misery, so what makes TB Joshua any different? For one reason and one reason only. Jesus told us that we would recognise true prophets by their fruits, and that a bad tree only produces bad fruit whilst a good tree produces good fruit. (Matthew 7:16-18).

I used to be a children’s teacher before this illness stole my health. I would always teach the children to be willing to find things out for themselves and make up their own minds. I’d encourage them to explore the facts thoroughly before they blindly accepted the beliefs of others. So that’s exactly what I did with TB Joshua, and this is what I’ve discovered. TB Joshua comes from a very humble background. In fact, he is a very humble man. At his latest birthday celebrations, he denied that he was a celebrity. He had no desire to seek celebrity status. Instead he called himself “a man of the people”. Then he told the multitude that what would really please this “man of the people” would be if they were willing to share what they had (time, money and food) with those without them. Is that the language of a fraudster? When he first decided to build the Church of All Nations he got on his hands and knees and helped to build it, from the drains up. Is that the actions of a fraudster? The other day I watched one of his Youtube videos in amazement… READ MORE

Nollywood actress set free from smoking through praying with TB Joshua

In an interview with Nigerian Celebrity Magazine, ‘E24-7’, popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh revealed that she was set free from an addiction to smoking for 14 years through praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV. The miracle came in a way she never even expected!

Here are excerpts from the interview:
It was also reported that you had quit smoking?
Yes I did.
How and when did you start smoking?
At the age of 13, I started smoking.
Have you quit for good and what made you quit, could it have been your health?
No, I didn’t quit by myself. I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, ‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking; seriously, I loved it! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off. When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn’t even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!
It takes long to quit smoking, I learnt it is a gradual thing, how did yours happen so suddenly?
From the little I have told you it wasn’t natural.
Have you ever encountered TB Joshua before?
No but I am always on his tail, I watch him every day, I write him every time I can, I tweet on him, I love him. I think that he is a person that influences my life positively in a lot of ways just through the TV alone and I can imagine myself being in his church, Oh my God!
Maybe you would go to his church soon?
I don’t want to; I don’t want to somersault but I love watching him on the television.
You don’t want him to touch you?
Of course, I want him to touch me but you know people just have different movements when under the anointing and the other thing kind of takes over. I am not saying that it is a shame to be delivered but I wouldn’t want to share that with the whole world, I would appreciate if someday I could see him privately. Click Here To Read More

President Atta Mills Is In Heaven – Ghanaians Take Heart

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Mills was born July 21, 1944 in Ekumfi Otuam in Ghana’s Central Region.

The sorrow of the faithful
is not that of permanent loss,
but the tender sense of sadness
that comes in saying good-bye for now
to someone we love.
May today’s sorrow give way
to the peace and
comfort of God’s love.

FROM WATCHING TB JOSHUA AND ALL OUR READERS

Mills was born July 21, 1944 in Ekumfi Otuam in Ghana’s Central Region.

Before his political career, he was an accomplished scholar receiving both a bachelors and law degree from the University of Ghana, a doctorate from the University of London, and the prestigious Fulbright scholarship to Stanford University in the United States.

Mills served as Ghana’s vice president during the administration of Jerry Rawlings from 1997 to 2000.
He had been nominated by the ruling party to run for president again in an election expected later this year.

He leaves behind a wife and a son.

T.B. Joshua: The man who saw tomorrow?

He has a smile for everyone, yet many regard him as one of the most controversial prophets that ever walked the nation and beyond. Many have not stopped reminiscing on the Dana air crash which was reported to have been foretold, among many other prophecies, by Prophet T.B. Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations. KEHINDE OYETIMIwrites on the man and his prophetic declarations.

IT was a usually religiously imbued Sunday—June 3. Major roads led to religious centers with obliviousness written in the air. The hours travelled, morning gave birth to noon before catastrophe struck. The Dana Air passenger aircraft crashed around 3p.m. in Lagos, killing all that travelled in it including a few on ground at the spot of its crash. It was one of the bleakest Sundays in the history of the nation.

While the nerve-shattering news rent the air, plucking tears from the eyes of many, people began to recollect that precisely on February 2, this year, Prophet T.B. Joshua, the highly revered pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, located in Lagos, called upon all that cared to listen to pray and fast, especially for those flying within Nigeria. Joshua was reported however to have said the crash would be due to a security challenge.

The prophet, in his admonition, had prophesied that a plane crash would occur and it would claim many lives including that of top government officials. This was eventually so on the Dana crash. His prophecy was published on February 2, this year by the Nigerian Tribune.

It would be recalled that it had become quite characteristic of this man in the synagogue of chipping in precise prophetic utterances during his sermons. Some, he would speak out rightly, others, he would speak in shrouded parables. Many of his counterparts in pastoral work have usually found his methods quite controversial. He was equally reputed to have predicted the death of the music legend—Michael Jackson, including the death of the President Mutharika of Malawi which equally happened.

With the death of so many lives in the Dana air disaster and following the exactitude with which his previous prophecies had come to fruition, many Nigerians, irrespective of religious leanings have been forced to raise some questions concerning the predictions of this man in the Synagogue. Could listening and acting on the prophetic utterances of Joshua be the reduction of sudden deaths? Would the over 150 lives lost at the Dana crash being saved if close attention had been paid to the predictions of Joshua? Could the prayer and fasting recommended by the prophet have saved the day if the proffered spiritual exercise has been observed across the length and breadth of the nation?

Many football fans would also recall the prophet’s prediction in the final round of the last UEFA Championship. Despite being viewed as puerile, many who felt directly concerned took the prediction serious, just as others took it with a pinch of salt. There are also reports that Joshua had predicted World War III should Iran and Israel go to war. Joshua claimed that if the war started, it would be the longest and worst in human history.

Just as Joshua commands so many followers who believe strongly that his ministry is of God, many others both within and outside the country also cast aspersion on his spiritual methods. For instance, it was reported that the Cameroonian government blacklisted Prophet T.B. Joshua from its country on charges of anti-Christian practices.

Many  people have wondered about the power with which he performed miracles and gave prophetic utterances. But the prophet has repeatedly insisted that he is just an instrument in God’s hands. In interaction with some select foreign observers who had come on a pilgrimage to the church, the prophet spoke of how the church started.

According to him, “People would call me and ask me to pray for them. If they want to play football, I would pray for them. They began to come to me individually for prayers. It was pray for me, pray for me, pray for me all the way. You see, God Almighty is awesome. He can use any medium to express Himself. He can use sand, water, stone, rod, he can use anything.

“When Moses was asking God, what should he do, God asked him: “What is in your hand?” He said rod. Then God said: “Use it to divide the sea.” Or are you talking about Paul and Silas in the prison yard? They were there and they never said: Hey, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus. They just sang praises to God. The used the medium of sound. Or are you talking of Joshua. He said to his people to just shout Alleluia and the walls of Jericho fell. God uses any medium to express Himself.

“The ministry started from St. Stevens Primary School where I collected the cutlass from the madman and where I started leading the Scriptures Union, teaching the Bible and everything. This is where the awareness of God’s presence in me started. It continued. Everything big starts little. If everything big starts big, it calls for concern.”

While the nation is still unable to overcome the devastation of the Dana air crash, many would perhaps begin to take serious the prophetic utterances of Joshua.

TB Joshua Critics Sitting On Time Bomb

It’s been a while we wrote on TB Joshua and his critics. We had to take a trip to Ghana, Lagos, South Africa, Bristol in the UK to investigate the group of rascals whom have now teamed up to form a bloc to damage the reputation of TB Joshua, after they failed to achieve their goal at the SCOAN HQ as well as numerous blogs and junk news sites.

Some of our findings are earth shaking, what they thought they could achieve within a year, how much they wanted money, how they extorted money from the congregation and most importantly why they are doing this.

All these will be featured in parts to ensure you follow the truth every inch of the article we shall be bringing your way soon. Watch Out!

WARNING TO THE PRESS AND BLOGGER’S OVER TB JOSHUA

There have been numerous reports flying round the internet and various news media in many African countries for the last few days about what Prophet TB Joshua said on Sunday 5th February about an African president. Different time-frames and false dates, including ‘2 months’ ’60 days’ ‘February 16th’ and ‘April 16th’ have been mentioned. This is to certify and clarify once and for all what Prophet TB Joshua actually said on that day.

Prophet TB Joshua DID NOT prophesy that an African president would die in 60 days or two months time. He DID NOT mention any specific date or time-frame.
DO NOT misquote him. DO NOT spread rumours and attribute them to Prophet TB Joshua. Prophet TB Joshua speaks forth only what he hears from God Almighty and it is not to be misquoted, mistreated or misused for one’s own benefit. “You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you” (Deuteronomy 4:2).

PROPHECIES revealed by God Almighty through Prophet TB Joshua are broadcast LIVE on Emmanuel TV during the Sunday Live Services At The SCOAN.

IF YOU DIDN’T SEE IT FOR YOURSELF ON EMMANUEL TV, IT DIDN’T HAPPEN!

THIS is what Prophet TB Joshua prophesied regarding an African head of state:
“We should pray for one African head of state, president, against sickness that will likely take life. It is a sickness for a long time – being kept in the body for a long time. God showed me the country and the place but I’m not here to say anything like that. I am still praying to God to deliver the president concerned.”

He did not say more than that. He only said that we should pray for his life to be saved. He did not say that the prophecy was unchangeable. He did not give his name; he did not say when the leader would die; he did not say that the leader must die; he did not give the name of the country the leader was from. He only said that we should pray for him.

Please let people around you, your friends and colleagues and all who care to listen know what TB Joshua actually said. What a prophet says is not meant for speculation; it is rather a sober encouragement for us all to continue to give ourselves to prayer. We may know that we need God but we may not know how much we really need Him.

Are TB Joshua Miracles Fake or Genuine? People Must See This…

Prophet TB Joshua

Whatever one does in life people are bound to talk. One of such people they so much talk about is Prophet TB Joshua and his Ministries (SCOAN). Some claim his miracles are fake even some of his ex-disciples whom could NOT do the same thing TB Joshua does, even some Pastors too.

Please watch the videos below and tell us what you think.

USA Fraud/Crime Site Exposed Bisola Johnson – TB Joshua Ex-Disciple

A shocking expose on how one Bisola Johnson extorts large amounts of money from people, pretending to be acting on the behalf of Pastor TB Joshua…

USA CRIME/FRAUD SITE

Source: http://crime.ws/fraud/using-tb-joshuaa-name-for-419-3/

LET’S LIE FOR DOLLARS AND POUNDS

On this site we have shown many of the lies being peddled by TB Joshua’s ex-disciples whom have form a bloc to rebel against TB Joshua and the SCOAN for failing to become either a Prophet or Prophetess. Some of the words used to address TB Joshua are so strong that we at Watching TB Joshua decided to take up the issue, digging deep into some of the issues raised by these so called ex-disciples, and men of God out of sheer jealousy.

Madeleine: A commenter on one of the blogs used to spread malicious and fabricated lies against TB Joshua and his ministry, she had this to say, “All information about TB Joshua that I have read from the Internet indicates that he is not accountable. I have also met a Nigerian church leader visiting England who has said exactly the same.”

Madeleine We don’t get it. Apart from God who called and commissioned him (TB Joshua), who do they want him to be accountable to? Let’s look at Jesus himself and the great men of God in the bible, there is something always unique about them and their calling, so also TB Joshua’s calling is unique. Talking about Nigeria Church Leaders, most of them belong to the PFN and have one way or the other gone to the media to make some despicable statements against TB Joshua and his ministry. The tone and style of some of the writings reveals a deep seated hatred for the Prophet. The writer of such despicable stories against the SCOAN does not even acknowledge the many good things Prophet TB Joshua is doing for Nigeria in particular and for humanity in general. Let’s not be blinded by myopic and false considerations! God alone is the supreme judge and the truth shall prevail! Dollars and Pounds do not allow them to say the truth.

Believe us when we say there are many things we would prefer to be doing than running this site – but if it can help save just a few people from the being deceived like somewhatsober,  a commenter who left a comment on our post titled Final Part – War in the Church, Many against TB Joshua saying; I confess to being guilty of believing the unqualified rumors against TB Joshua, to my shame I even name-called him in a most disrespectful way in a ANTI SCOAN SITE, having fallen for the lies. I needed those lies in order to satisfy my own failures at SCOAN. Click here to view the comment direct on our blog

The comment above was left by someone who was deceived by one of the blogs formed by ex-disciples of TB Joshua who were not sincere during their stay at the SCOAN, hence they failed.

Another commenter Kelly wrote on their blog:

You did not tell the world you were going to the SCOAN, so it will be ridiculous when you start telling the world that you left. Kelly Was referring to those who claimed they have wasted their time at SCOAN

After months of slander and defamation, Anti SCOAN Sites finally agrees there is no evidence to support their claim of sexual abuse charges against T.B. Joshua. This is funny considering the fact that they have heaped invectives, called him names and I am wondering why they have not rendered a formal apology to the man of God. In their latest article they said:

‘We’re not saying these allegations are definitely true – we’d have no evidence to support that claim.’

If they claim there is indeed no evidence to support their claims, why are they now saying the allegations must be ‘investigated?’  If they have evidence, it is incumbent upon them to provide them to the police to investigate, because you cannot investigate anything without evidence.

They must for once keep their mouths shut and concentrate on building their lives instead of becoming permanent bloggers. If their aim is to destroy the man of God then they have failed in their venture.

Final Part – War in the Church, Many Against TB Joshua

The undiluted word of God has been taken over by the prosperity message being propounded by Kenneth Copeland and the likes which has now shamelessly reverberated across Europe and Africa. People do not worship God in Spirit and in

Kenneth Copeland

truth but now lean on their own understanding of what is good and just. The congregation is called onto give thousands within 24 hours in order to reap ten fold. The church is now operating as a National Lottery Company where people go on to stake money in order to win vast amounts of money.  The Church being a charity is exempted from paying taxes as such we all expect the church to be more involved in caring for both the physical and spiritual needs of the people.

We should endeavour to follow the foot steps of the orthodox churches because as missionaries  they  came down to Africa and made it a point to establish schools, health centres and hostels for caring of the destitute and the physically disabled in society. To be candid, most of our educated men and women in Africa who parade around with big titles benefited immensely from these churches. What have we also done to improve the quality of life to our kith and kin? I want the giants or the so called giants of the Pentecostal churches to start moving in the direction of investing in the welfare of their congregation and beyond, instead of becoming experts on fund raising. Fundraising has now become a

Eddie Long
Creflo Dollar

calling for some pastors and this is quite disturbing indeed.  Competition is rife among pastors each wanting to undo each other in both dressing and the number of cars and planes they have. A famous pastor in Ghana while opening a branch of his Church in Kumasi, Ghana had this to say, “No matter how rich you are in my church, I will not allow you to intimidate me with your wealth because you cannot even buy the perfume I use not to talk of the attire I wear,” he told the congregation at the church located at Abrepo. Hear him again, “As a Christian, you should wear the best of clothing, drive in expensive cars, and live in comfortable houses so that the glory of God could be seen in your life because the God you worship is very expensive,” he intimated. If this is a mentality of a man of God, then I plead with the God Almighty forgive us and deliver us from our sins. I am not writing to castigate this mighty man of God but every thing must be examined in the light of God’s word. Let’s ask ourselves, are his words biblical and in accordance with God’s word? With thatin mind we can get the answer. In London, I have virtually seen pastors begging visiting pastors from Nigeria and elsewhere to be their father in the Lord, some to the extent of

Ayo Oritsejafo

paying huge amount of monies for that purpose in order for to preach on the platforms of these maga pastors and to be introduced to their foreign contacts. A visiting pastor who used to frequent London from Wari, Nigeria on preaching engagements, stopped coming to London for a very long time because he fell out with the pastor of the largest African Charismatic church in London for referring to Eddie Long as his father in Christ, because according to him he helped him a great deal when he left the Four Square Church that brought him to London to form his now mega church in Walthamstow, London. This pastor has now resurfaced after many years of absence but still refuses to preach for this pastor in question. We Christians have forgotten the love of God that surpasses all understanding. We don’t have the love of God in us, darkness has overshadowed the light in us and unless we expunge the darkness in us by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (light) in us through prayers and the forgiveness of our sins we shall continue to be defeated souls. Let the love of God reign in us. Let us emulate Christ as Paul admonishes us to do.  We should also pray for our jet flying pastors with flamboyant lifestyles who have joined the ministry with the sole purpose of making financial gains in the mist of squalor and poverty among the general population.

Though we Pentecostals or charisma tics lambast and make a mockery of the Catholics and the other churches, we have not been able to be in the fore front of outdoing them in giving to the needy. The only notable example of a giving Prophet is T.B. Joshua. He stands over and above his compatriots. Giving has become part of his life and that of his ministry. He as a pastor does not vilify the Catholic Church or any other faith but insist on people having a personal relationship with the father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the God of glory. To examine whether a pastor is genuine or not, listen to his preaching and whether it is in accordance with the word of God and also ask God whether the person is really called by Him. God will definitely give you an answer. Don’t rely on man to give you the answer.

In concluding the series, I paste an article by the world renowned Bible scholar and a prominent lawyer in New Zealand, Bill Subritzky, who led a team of seven of his church members to Lagos to examine the ministry of T.B. Joshua. Read below

Bill Subritzky

As an evangelist who has proclaimed the gospel of Jesus Christ in many nations for the past 30 years and operated in the power of the Holy Spirit, I can assure you that the healings that we were received were not the work of hypnosis and shamanism. Why don’t you go there yourself and check the situation out?

You say that on your Truth Watch website there are articles by leading Christian apologists and teachers who have been to Joshua’s church and tested what he teaches and does against the bible. I can find no such apologists and teachers upon your website. To the contrary, on websites such as http://www.carmel-uk.org/stoke_report.htm there are testimonies of some of those who have been there, who have seen healings and confirmed that this is the work of God. [Note: Carmel Ministries International have approached Truth Watch, and have informed us that they no longer endorse the Ministry of TB Joshua. Therefore the link referred to by Bill Subritzky no longer exists on their website]

You mentioned Joshua’s statement that he was born with a gift of healing and you say that no gift of the Spirit is bestowed at birth. In 2 Timothy 1:5 Paul recalls a gift of faith that was first in Timothy’s grandmother Lois and in his mother Eunice. John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mothers womb (Luke 1:15). They were obviously born with this gift of faith. In my own family five of my sixteen grandchildren have the same gift of faith as did my own mother. How can you say that God cannot grant gifts that go down through the generations?

In Jeremiah 1:4-5 God said about Jeremiah who was a herdsman “I said that before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I sanctified you, I ordained you a prophet to the nations”.

You quote Joshua as saying that he claims to separate the sheep from the goats. In actual fact in commenting on identifying false miracle workers and the genuine ministers of God he says “I think we should leave that one to God who will separate the sheep from the goats at the appointed time”. That was his comment.

In regard to your comment that he says that the “divine in him appears to people in their dreams”. Joshua’s reply is that this is gross misinformation and most misleading. He has never said anything like that. He points out Jesus Christ is omnipresent, the Holy Spirit is omnipresent “where shall I go from the Spirit, where I can flee from your presence” (Psalm 139:7). This is what he is referring to and not himself.

In Acts 19:11-12 it states that unusual miracles occurred by the hands of Paul so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were bought from his body to the sick and diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them. In the 30 years of my own ministry I have seen this happen many times. Furthermore I have seen it happen when I have prayed over other articles of clothing. God is not limited. Jesus Christ spat on the ground to make mud to heal the blind. Elijah instructed the leper to go to the River Jordan to be washed and be cleansed of his leprosy. By the rod of Moses waters were turned into blood, the frogs came on the land of Egypt, lice filled Egypt. The mantle of Elijah divided the waters, and in the hair of Samson there was power. When the angel stirred up the water in the pool of Bethesda whoever stepped in first was healed in the waters. There was power on the hem of Jesus’ garment. Why should there not be power in water which has been prayed over by Joshua?

Accordingly when Joshua prays over the water and people drink it, it is not surprising that massive deliverance occurs as the power of the Holy Spirit flows. You call it all sorts of disorder and say that disorder should be foreign to God’s people. Obviously you have overlooked Acts 8:6-7 “And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.” There was plenty of disorder there when the unclean spirits came out of them.

You refer to the fact that he calls fire from heaven and mention Revelation 13:13. However, this scripture says satan makes fire come down from heaven in the sight of man. Joshua is not doing this. In Matthew 3:11 we are told that Jesus will baptize us with the Holy Spirit and fire. Obviously it is reference to spiritual fire and not physical fire. Again in the ministry of deliverance, I have called fire down by the power of the Holy Spirit, tremendous manifestations and have taken place and demons have left people.

You ask me to exegetically review various scriptures most of which refer to false prophets and false signs and wonders as well as the preaching of another Jesus and leading people into error. As I said already our group went to Nigeria to thoroughly test what we had already seen on the videos and heard about Joshua.

While we were there we heard the name of Jesus Christ being constantly raised up, as well as the need for repentance and salvation. We heard dozens of testimonies from people who had repented and who had come to Jesus Christ, sin constantly preached against and the people exhorted to go and sin no more. In Joshua we found a man of humility, dedicated to the work of the Lord and operating in the power of the Holy Spirit. We saw the fruit of the Holy Spirit in the lives of the thousands attending there. As we spoke to many of them we found people disciplined in their study of the bible, exhibiting the love, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit. The presence of God pervaded the place.

Another brother and myself spent an hour with Joshua going over his doctrine and thoroughly satisfying ourselves concerning it. Before leaving he prayed for all members of our team and since then we have all known an even greater anointing of the Holy Spirit and the presence and power of God in our lives.

On the basis of what we have personally seen and heard as opposed to hearsay evidence, we clearly state that he is not a false prophet, nor a shaman but a true man of God. We have seen the evidence both in his approach to scripture and the fruit of the ministry.

In 2 Timothy 3:3 and 5 we read that in the last times there will be those who are slanderers having a form of godliness but denying the power of God. We are told to turn away from such people. This is a warning to us all not to deny the power of God. If we are going to judge other ministries let us not rely on hearsay evidence and prejudice but rather go to the person themselves and hear what the Lord has to say about them.

In Matthew 7:1 onwards we are warned by Jesus not to judge that we be not judged. Before we entered into judgment on Joshua we went and looked and listened for ourselves. We commend this course of action to you.

Eight weeks ago a man was raised from the dead when Joshua prayed for him at the Church of the Synagogue. The whole event was videoed at the time and this video is now available.

The prime accuser against Joshua has been a former pop musician turned preacher called Chris Okotie. He has published many allegations which are complete falsehoods. Other critics of Joshua have picked up on these allegations and circulated them around the world.

Attached you will find the report of the Religious Monitoring Board of Lagos. This Board made a request to the Lagos State Government and Federal Government of Nigeria to investigate the allegations made against Joshua by Reverend Chris Okotie and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. This revealed that there was no such substance in the allegations and the Government pronounced a verdict of innocence.

The government then issued warnings to Reverend Okotie and his Pentecostal Fellowship group to desist from their falsehood, unfounded, mischievous and malicious attacks, laden with blatant lies against Joshua.

You will note that the Religious Monitoring Group has monitored the Church of the Synagogue since 1993 and found nothing unusual or unbiblical in the practice, doctrine, teaching and made of worship of the church. It commends the life of Joshua as worthy of emulation and states that his anointing is of absolute righteousness and holiness which many of the Nigerian Pentecostal churches lack.

Reverend Okotie’s wife is now filing for divorce because of his adultery.

It is clear that this report is a complete vindication of the ministry of Prophet Joshua.

I am attaching a report from a leading Dutch theologian Professor Willem Ouweneel who holds doctorates in biology, philosophy and theology. He lectures in Universities in Switzerland, Holland, South Africa and Germany. Contrary to the commentators whom you quote, he has in fact visited the Church of the Synagogue and you will find that even though he comes from a brethren background he is totally supportive of T.B. Joshua and vindicates his theology.

We would also refer you to www.theremnant.com  On this website you will find unequivocal proof from an independent commentator of the healings from HIV and other conditions at the Church of the Synagogue through Prophet Joshua.

There are 15 videos available showing the ministry of Joshua and various healing miracles. As I have already said, they are available on my website www.doveministries.com where you will find details of these videos. Anybody interested in the ministry of Joshua should watch these videos to arrive at their own conclusion.

Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Secret Exposed On TB Joshua

After our articleWar in the Church, Many against TB Joshua Part 1 and Part 2 was published, thousands of people wrote to us thinking we are SCOAN and wanted to know why we took so long to respond to some of the disturbing allegations made by some Pastors in Nigeria against TB Joshua.

Editor’s note:

We wish to inform all our readers that Watching TB Joshua has nothing to do with the SCOAN. We are individuals operating from Canada, USA, and Holland. To know more about us please check the about us page

In this article we are featuring a Pastor Chidi Daniel a member of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria, begging Prophet TB Joshua for forgiveness. Many may wonder why but the truth is “where there is no guilt there is no apology”

If we cherish evil thoughts, the LORD God will not hear us. And when we stand praying, if we have anything against anyone, forgive them; so that our Father in heaven may also forgive our offenses. Listen to this pastor’s confession in asking for forgiveness to the Man of God. Watch and be set free In Jesus’ Name.

We shall publish other members of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria shortly

‘Jesus did not say by their words you will know them; he said by the fruit you shall know them’. Every Nigerian by this time would be able to discern a good fruit from by a bad one’.

In terms of modesty, humility, love for fellow man, good deeds, and including comments on national issue, you will

know who is Christ-like and the one who is made up of falsehood. On the issue of Boko Haram, while TB Joshua was saying we Christians do not defend ourselves because we have a defender – the Holy spirit, Ayo Oritsejafor was calling on Christians to defend themselves because the government seemed incapable of defending them, he even made no reference to the holy spirit, or support his advice with scripture, in other words, while one of them was concerned with the unity of Nigeria, the other was fanning the flames of war. Come to think of it, with Ayo’s advice to Christians on self-defense, with what should Christians defend themselves? Is it with Holy water, Crucifixes or Bibles? He said it so casually; Christians defend thy self!!!.  How? To go to church with a pistol in their pockets? or perhaps AK 47 in their babaringa? (African traditional wear)  Did he really mean we should use guns and swords?

Our Lord cautioned us against that, “No more of this,” Jesus said to Peter (Lk. 22:51) and then, further, this was what Jesus proceeded to say – as Matthew records it – “‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘for all who draw the sword will die by the sword’. Ayo, let love reign and seek to always pray for your perceived enemies. CAN need to be very careful in their advice so that is not taken as a call for Christians to start killing non-Christians. a concerned Nigerian commented on this issue by saying that from Ayo’s response on the Boko haram issue, He seems to forget that as Christians , we all have a “dark side of the soul” that is waiting to be used by the devil. CAN should not blind to see that a religious war in Nigeria is just what Bork Haram and the forces of the devil want and no matter the situation CAN should not allow themselves to be used by the forces of evil. The love of God in our hearts will not allow us shed the blood of sinners that we pray and seek to convert. In due time, members of Boko haram will become born again Christians, preaching the gospel all over the world. St Paul is an example.

I thought Ayo being the president of the P.F.N was capable of summoning all the opinion leaders in Nigeria, including both Christians and Muslims and other religions to build bridges towards peace than rather adding more fuel to flames. The issues are well launched. Who do you think bears good fruit worthy of emulation?

On corruption in Nigeria, Ayo, had this to say, “You know, in Ghana, Rawlings shot them. But we can’t do that in Nigeria. So we are praying that those who refuse to change, God should kill them, they should die. Because there are some people, if they don’t die, Nigeria may not move forward. So we are praying that such people should die. God should kill them. God can kill. God makes a life, and God kills too. So there are some people who may have to die, some structures God may have to destroy to move Nigeria forward. ”(See clip on YouTube –

So, here is Ayo talking about corruption in Nigeria but has forgotten to address the filth in the church, the extortion of the gullible by pastors of his like which is akin to corruption on the national scale. As Emerson will say on such issues, ‘a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of simple minds”. Here is a man who sees everything wrong about his nation and people but fails to examine himself inwardly and his shortcomings. Luke 6:42 sums Ayo’s character, ‘How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Again, Ayo, seek love and not vengeance. Why has killing our enemies become a phenomenon in charismaticism? Can’t we ever pray for our enemies to change their way of thinking and to reform? Let love lead instead of hate.

Tunde Bakare
Chris Okotie

On Chris Okotie and Ladi Thompson, the least said, the better for us all. On Okotie, he can only be described as an opportunist hiding behind the veil of Christendom to propagate his political views. In fact he is a politician. A pop star turned televangelist; there is nothing new about him. An expert on controversies, he peddles in rumour and lies to discredit men of God he seems not to like. He is an attention seeker without anything to offer Nigerians. He masquerades as a man of God to draw attention to himself. As a man on an ego trip, he has dabbled as a student of law, pop star, a law degree holder and a flamboyant televangelist. To him what he conjectures becomes a reality and goes to the extent of placing it in the public domain. This is what he has done in the case of T.B. Joshua. Chris and Tunde Bakare in this regard are the same. Tunde, when he is ‘belly full’, comes out with cock and bull stories of visions he has had from God about other pastors, all with the purpose of denigrating them and projecting himself as the ‘holier than thou’ pastor, seer and politician in Nigeria. St. Bakare! Tunde and Chris have not met T.B. Joshua, not spoken to him nor dialogued with him, yet they destroy him. What is their mission then? Is it to fight for God? Tunde Bakare for all intent and purpose is a walking contradiction, populist and opportunist. He predicted the demise of Obasanjo and never came to pass, he referred to Buhari as the passing phase or one rejected by God yet he partnered him as Buhari’s running mate in the last election. This is simply not a man of God. He is a populist and a dangerous person and must be seen for what he is, looking for the slightest opportunity to jump on. He does not hear or see visions from God. His is trickery of the highest order.

Last, but not the least, is Ladi Thompson, a confusions’ with a political colorization who displays a coffin on his altar and in his office with inscriptions like kill corruption etc. He is the originator of the confused ‘omoluabi’ concept which he explains is a way of fighting and stopping corruption in Nigeria. The fact is, what has he done in fighting corruption in his own small way?

Rev. Thompson
Bisola Johson

His main pre- occupation is chasing mirages, perceived enemies, people who don’t pose a threat to

Agomoh Paul

him, and sponsoring ex-disciples of Prophet T.B. Joshua in the publication ‘of the deception of the ages’ by Agomoh and Bisola and selling it for over 40 dollars a copy. To Ladi, the gospel of love does not exist. He’s the type who gives a ‘dog a bad name and hangs it’ to satisfy their parochial needs. This is the mentality of an ungodly person. He believes in the African syndrome of ‘I don’t know him but have to destroy him’, period! Where is the love we hear so much in 1 Corinthians 13:13. Has that escaped him?

We need men of impeccable character, consistent and God fearing, people who could be called sons of God, made up of love.

WHO THEY WERE WATCH THEIR PAST!

War in the Church, Many against TB Joshua Part 1

When you are called by God and a great anointing is bestowed on you, it becomes a source of jealousy, envy and back

archbishop idahosa

stabbing. Many Judases rise from within and outside your own fold to destroy and to tarnish your image. But as it is often said, what people don’t understand, they call names.

It all started when Archbishop Idahosa came out strongly against Prophet T.B. Joshua to the extent of questioning his

Ayo Oritejafor

calling and pronouncing a death sentence on him by saying next year by this time he T.B. Joshua would be no more. Idahosa is known very much for his verbal vituperations and curses but this time the curse rather fell on him. He met his untimely death the year he exactly gave for T.B. Joshua to pass on. Words are powerful and people must be careful in the way they speak or talk. People should refrain at all cost in pronouncing curses on others.

Another Pentecostal big wig and leader of the PFN in Nigeria, Ayo Oritejafor was less charitable, and demanded to know, ‘who tutored T.B. Joshua as a pastor in the first place’. He went on further to say, ‘If T.B. Joshua can show me his pastor who pastored him before he said he was called into the ministry; if T.B. Joshua can tell me when he got converted and how he got converted, then we would consider him. Anybody who is a Christian is a Christian because he received Jesus Christ at a point’.

Pastor E.A. Adeboye

This is quite laughable, does the anointing come from tutors and role models? The anointing comes from God who gives liberally. Indeed, T.B Joshua never attended a Charismatic church pastored by the likes of Ayo, Adeboye and Idahosa but was a member of the Anglican Church where he served God faithfully and The Lord bestowed on him a mighty anointing which has become a source of envy. Thank God, T.B. Joshua was not tutored by the likes of Idahosa and Ayo. They transformed Christianity in to a commercial venture, a multi- business conglomerate with worldwide subsidiaries all with the idea of lacing their pockets with billions of naira to satisfy their insatiable demand for fame and power. To them, the poor did not matter as they believed it is nonsense to remain poor in the mist of plenty. They laid the foundation of the prosperity ministry in Nigeria. Where in the bible did Jesus talk or preach about prosperity? Jesus cared about the poor, sick and the vulnerable in society and he illustrated this by the story of the Good Samaritan.

Adeboye on the other hand had this to say, ‘If he T.B. Joshua wants me to

come and minister in his church, we will sit down; we will discuss the issue of salvation the way I understand it, according to the scriptures. If we agree on that and he now wants me to come and preach the same message of salvation in his church, then I will go.”

Such balderdash! Who made Adeboye an expert on salvation? Holding a doctorate does not make you an expert on

salvation. It is now becoming increasingly clear that those who criticise T.B. Joshua do so because they feel he is not one of them, he is not up to their standard, he has not go a title (Nigerians love titles Dr. Dr. etc) and they do not know where he got his anointing from. If I were them, I would ask God where he got his anointing from. But one thing is certain, they do not hear from God. They are imposters caught up in drama, shouting on top of their voices deceiving many and

Prophet TB Joshua

siphoning monies from an unsuspecting congregation, promising them 24 hour miracles from God. These self styled pastors ride in the latest and most expensive cars on the planet. And the mega rich out of them have jet planes. Where are we heading to? Those who attend their churches do so not because of the salvation of their souls but because they want to enjoy the niceties of life and to be like their pastors.

Networking has become the order of the day among pastors all with the sole idea of associating themselves with mega rich pastors in America to be given the opportunity to preach in their churches and thereby raise monies for their lavish lifestyles. A pastor friend one day said to me ‘after salvation, what else?’ His answer was obvious, riches!

With such mentality, how can you advance the work of God? And they have the audacity to talk about salvation and that they are educated enough talk about such topics.

In part 2 we shall write on the ex disciple of TB Joshua and the lifstyle of TB Joshua.

TB Joshua watch in psychological warfare

TB Joshua watch in psychological warfare. After failing in their bid to run down the man of God they have resorted to cyber psychological warfare by sending a post on the net and subsequently cutting and pasting it on their blog. …….from http://www.nwrain.net/~refocus/ithurts.htmlIt shows they are bereft of ideas and losing the plot. They should do something positive with their lives instead of becoming permanent bloggers.

IT HURTS to discover you were deceived – that what you thought was the “one true religion,” the “path to total freedom,” or “truth” was in reality a cult.
IT HURTS when you learn that people you trusted implicitly – whom you were taught not to question – were “pulling the wool over your eyes” albeit unwittingly.
IT HURTS when you learn that those you were taught were your “enemies” were telling the truth after all — but you had been told they were liars, deceivers, repressive, satanic etc and not to listen to them.
IT HURTS when you know your faith in God hasn’t changed – only your trust in an organization – yet you are accused of apostasy, being a trouble maker, a “Judas”. It hurts even more when it is your family and friends making these accusations.
IT HURTS to realize their love and acceptance was conditional on you remaining a member of good standing. This cuts so deeply you try and suppress it. All you want to do is forget – but how can you forget your family and friends?
IT HURTS to see the looks of hatred coming from the faces of those you love – to hear the deafening silence when you try and talk to them. It cuts deeply when you try and give your child a hug and they stand like a statue, pretending you aren’t there. It stabs like a knife when you know your spouse looks upon you as demonized and teaches your children to hate you.
IT HURTS to know you must start all over again. You feel you have wasted so much time. You feel betrayed, disillusioned, suspicious of everyone including family, friends and other former members.
IT HURTS when you find yourself feeling guilty or ashamed of what you were – even about leaving them. You feel depressed, confused, lonely. You find it difficult to make decisions. You don’t know what to do with yourself because you have so much time on your hands now – yet you still feel guilty for spending time on recreation.
IT HURTS when you feel as though you have lost touch with reality. You feel as though you are “floating” and wonder if you really are better off and long for the security you had in the organization and yet you know you cannot go back.
IT HURTS when you feel you are all alone – that no one seems to understand what you are feeling. It hurts when you realize your self confidence and self worth are almost non-existent.
IT HURTS when you have to front up to friends and family to hear their “I told you so” whether that statement is verbal or not. It makes you feel even more stupid than you already do – your confidence and self worth plummet even further.
IT HURTS when you realize you gave up everything for the cult – your education, career, finances, time and energy – and now have to seek employment or restart your education. How do you explain all those missing years?

IT HURTS because you know that even though you were deceived, you are responsible for being taken in. All that wasted time…….. at least that is what it seems to you – wasted time.THE PAIN OF GRIEF

from http://www.nwrain.net/~refocus/ithurts.html what a shame!

Only heard about TB Joshua, don’t know him yet she highly condemns him!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO OUR FAITHFUL READERS!!!

Editor’s Introduction 1

My desire to expose the so called T.B. Joshua Watch family continues unabated. It has been conveyed to me that the attacks have raised eyebrows in certain quarters, about the mentioning of names with pictures attached to it.

Of course, they are entitled to their opinions. But what they should know is, I have disengaged from the SCOAN London branch just like the TB Joshua watch has done by resigning to fight a cause.

As stated in my previous articles, I am only addressing issues raised by people who sent various emails to members of SCOAN UK about their resignation from SCOAN, UK and matters arising thereof. I am not a spokesperson of SCOAN and I don’t intend to be one. I have only taken on the responsibility of investigating what the TB Joshua watch says and also listening to what others are stating and contrasting them with the emails they sent to all members of UK SCOAN.

All the contents of the TB Joshua watch are recycled from the emails sent by those who resigned from the branch, namely Dave and Angie (co- pastors), Karina and husband, Dr John Harderker, Tracey De Sousa, Leon and wife. Like I rightly said, I have a right to a response and I have chosen word press to do that.

Stella’s Story

We feature Karina and Morne van Niekerk as being part of the ‘Southern African collective’ who has been launching scathing attacks on T.B. Joshua. Some even think by mentioning the word ‘apartheid’ or segregation is too strong a word to describe this ‘collective’.

Yes, karina and the husband, on the 19/3/2010, in their email sent to all members of SCOAN entitled ‘Good Bye’, they launched a blistering attack on prophet T.B. Joshua and all that SCOAN stands for. They acted as conduits and prepared the grounds for what Dave and Angie were to say after their pastoral ship had become untenable and they were about to leave. They showered praises on Angie and Dave who were merely at that time preaching recycled messages from the prophet. They never preached anything new. They said (Karina and Husband): ‘I know a lot of you feel the same way as us and is pondering what to do next.  Now is the time to BE the church.  The church is more than just a name or a person.  It is about being the hands and feet of Christ.  It is about being a family and looking out for each other.  It is and has never been about a building, liturgy or any other tradition, but us – those who love Him.  I want us all to be encouraged to look out for each other.  There was a lot of good over the last few years and we all grew spiritually under Dave and Angie’s leadership.  We need to take that with us!

Finally we need to thank Dave and Angie for their input in our lives.  They are 2 of the most solid people we’ve ever met and we owe a great deal of our understanding of and relationship with God to them.  Their dedication and love for us as a church was absolute and inspirational.  We never doubted that.  They have worked tirelessly to build the church and it is very sad to see it being eroded. We wish them only the best with their future.

Question EVERYTHING – it is Biblical.  Trust what you know about Dave & Angie and the Word of God and make informed decisions’.

In a response, one Stella condemned Karina ‘in no small, uncertain and unequivocal terms’. He gave a brief history of the Dutch Reform Church and the brutalities they perpetrated against blacks in South Africa in their policy of apartheid and segregation. He went on to say that ‘there is nothing these guys can teach black Africa’ in terms of pitching Black pastors against T.B. Joshua.

A lot of white South Africans are decent people and there were good guys who fought against the obnoxious regime and we appreciate and respect that but they don’t have the moral right to tell us what is good and bad. We have nothing to learn from Karina and her ilk.

The South African Collective cannot dictate to us. Did their forebears ever question D.D. Malan or Botha? Did they ever help poor black Africans who were dying from squalor and poverty? At least, T.B. Joshua is doing that and he is teaching people to follow his stead.

In Karina and Niekirk’s attack on T.B Joshua and Benny Hinn, she said: ‘The Bible says that when we do charitable works our left hand should not know what our right hand is doing.  Yet TBJ’s charitable works are broadcast the world over for all to see. It begs the question what is his motives for doing these things?  TBJ made many promises re Haiti.  They will be there permanently and will set up a base where there will be nurses and doctors and they are going to adopt x amount of children.  I challenge each of you reading this email to set a reminder in your phone and ask the ministry what is happening about it in 1 year from now.

TBJ is promoting the ministries of people who have been discredited within Christian circles such as Benny Hinn.  Why do that’?

I challenge them to name South African (white) pastors who are credible men of God. Instead of apologizing for the wrongs of the past they go looking for good people to devour. T.B. has played his part in Haiti and he continues to champion the cause of the down trodden in Africa and other parts of the world, even if he sells his portraits to raise money to help needy we are content with that. Anyway, what did white South Africa do for us?

Let these miscreants in the form of this ‘collective’ know that they were not forced to be part of SCOAN, but came on their own accord and therefore they should leave in peace keeping their thoughts to themselves.

The apartheid mentality is still alive in some people. It is not dead.
