Grady’s article lacks concrete evidence to support his claims against T.B. Joshua. Accusations of sorcery, occult practices, and sexual abuse demand substantial proof before being presented as facts. Furthermore, recent developments have revealed inaccuracies in the BBC fabricated documentary that Grady relies on, highlighting the importance of scrutinizing claims before accepting them as truths.

Fairness and accuracy in reporting are paramount, especially when addressing serious allegations against a prominent figure. Without verified evidence, it is irresponsible to make sweeping statements that may damage reputations.

As Christians, our faith is grounded in the principles of God’s Word. Our faith calls us to rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment rather than being swayed solely by what we see or hear.

In times of accusations, we are reminded that our perception may be limited, and our emotions can cloud our judgment. Therefore, our approach should align with God’s Word, relying on the Spirit of God to guide us into all truth (John 16:13). We need to thoroughly examine everything in the light of Scripture to ensure that our responses are grounded in faith rather than influenced by emotional reactions.

By examining everything in line with God’s Word, we uphold the biblical standard of discernment, recognizing that what we perceive may not always align with the absolute truth. This approach safeguards our faith from being shaken by external factors, encouraging believers to rely on the Spirit’s guidance in evaluating the veracity of any claim.

Stories of encounters within T.B. Joshua’s ministry, such as the mention of “zombie-like” behavior, lack context and may contribute to a skewed narrative. It is crucial to assess the credibility of such stories before accepting them as accurate representations.

While accountability is vital, it is equally essential to protect the integrity of the Christian faith. Engaging in baseless character assassination undermines the unity and credibility of the Body of Christ.

Rather than casting judgment without sufficient evidence, Christians are encouraged to exercise discernment and seek the truth. The Bible urges believers to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) and refrain from hasty judgments.

In light of the lack of substantiated evidence and the emerging discrepancies in the BBC false documentary, it is important to approach J. Lee Grady’s claims with skepticism. As believers, we should uphold principles of fairness, accountability, and biblical discernment. Let us engage in constructive dialogue that fosters understanding and unity within the body of believers.

SEXUAL AFFAIR TRAP SET FOR TB JOSHUA OF THE SYNAGOGUE

Chances are great now, if youโ€™re reading this article, that you are one of those benefiting immensely from the priceless Grace of God in the Life of TB Joshua in the form of healing, deliverance, salvation prosperity, divine protection and all of Godโ€™s blessings.ย  While you are at it, you must not ignore the reality of the diverse forms of opposition against the ministry of TB Joshua, which time has revealed to be in all spheres of life. You must have read derogatory stories about the man in the synagogue on newspapers, Magazines, internet, and also come across distasteful rumors alleging different offenses committed by the Man TB Joshua. A friend of mine who usually kept a record of most allegations against TB Joshua he came across confessed to me that he was confused, when I asked him why, he replied that apart from the fact that the allegations do not all agree, they were so much that he wondered if truly a single soul was capable of all this evil and still have such an active and growing ministry. Still the question remains, how can we verify the truth of these stories? Are these reports true or false? If youโ€™re one of those pondering if there could be any truth in the evil reports youโ€™ve read about TB Joshua, it would interest you to know that Negative propaganda on the internet is one of the least forms of attack against TB Joshua; the ministry of SCOAN aside from topping the chart of the most persecuted ministry on earth, also boasts of thousands of documented confession videos of demonically orchestrated seductive attempts at TB Joshua of the synagogue of all nations. Now this you would agree is a more serious form of attack, especially when the seducers are ever willing to testify before a global audience of the processes involved in their seductive assignment on TB Joshua, such that were it to succeed, we would not be reading falsified stories about TB Joshua, but stories of how the ministry of SCOAN no longer exists. Here we present one of many who have come to The SCOAN to seduce the man of God and her confession was recorded. As the wise man prayed for her, the evil spirit dwelling in her manifested and confessed the following:

โ€œMy duty is to seduce pastors because my kingdom needed souls. A lot of people go to church without doing what they are supposed to do….I am the queen. She hasnโ€™t finished the assignment I gave her. I am the idol. I destroy men…I get them with the sample of the body. In my eyes are many powers to seduce them; before they know it, they come crawling. I seduced pastors and I loved it. I love seducing them the most โ€“ all of those chewing gum boys out there. They would see me one on one in their office. When I talked, they would like my voice and they would just like me. Of course, I get what I want.

how the seducers were exposed
Exposed while on her seductive mission

Those who are truly born again, I donโ€™t go close to them because when I see them, the fire in them scares me so I would just have to go but when I see the simple ones, I love it, those who call themselves men of God but are not practicing the real thing. I love getting those ones to my kingdom. I would just sleep with them and have fun.

The way you people are doing all these things, our kingdom is drying. We need more souls.โ€

To the glory of God, she received her deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ and power of the Holy Spirit. Free from deceptive and seductive spirits, she confessed the following:

โ€œI am Florence Oluchi Ezibiro. I was initiated as the queen of the coast from my childhood. When I became older, it was time to carry out my mission, which was seduction. I would go to different churches, in the name of going there looking for a solution to my problem. My mission there was to seduce men of God, most especially the proud pastors. Coming to the church, I would see a pastor preaching, โ€œThe kingdom of darkness has no powerโ€. I would be provoked. I knew where my power was, in my eyes, breasts, navel and my hips. When I walked into the church, I made sure the pastor looked at me eye to eye. From there, I would initiate him. When everyone was seated in the church listening to the pastor while he preached, I would walk into the church and make sure everyoneโ€™s attention would go to me. The way I demonstrated my body and eyes and the way I walked, they would be forced to look at me. When they looked at me, they would be carried away. After service, if I saw that they didnโ€™t notice me, I would request for their prayer, that I was suffering from this or that. I didnโ€™t actually need the prayer I was requesting for. If I couldnโ€™t seduce them in the church, getting to their office was a one-on-one talk. When I talked to them, I would look into their eyes, read and manipulate their minds at that time. I would say that I wanted to be delivered. The pastors would start preaching that I needed to be born again. I would agree that I needed to be born again. Then I would draw up my breasts and they would say that they were in love with me. I looked into their eyes and could manipulate the pastors. Instead of them to deliver me, I would deliver them on my bed. After that, most of them would begin having problems with their ministries. Inside me, I would know that they were already mine.

Imagine if she would have succeeded. What would have happened? She said that she was sent to seduce pastors and after โ€œdelivering them on her bed,โ€ their ministries would begin to suffer problems. That was what happened when she fulfilled her mission. She took souls to the evil kingdom by sleeping with the pastor. But when she came to The SCOAN, she was unable to fulfil the mission. Why? She was unable to seduce neither T.B. Joshua, nor any of the FIVE WISE MEN. Why?

Florence Oluchi Ezibiro giving her testimony
Florence Oluchi Ezibiro giving her testimony

Pay attention to her words, โ€œThose who are truly born again, I donโ€™t go close to them because when I see them, the fire in them scares me so I would just have to go but when I see the simple ones, I love it, those who call themselves men of God but are not practicing the real thing. I love getting those ones to my kingdom. I would just sleep with them and have fun.โ€

She is one of thousands who have come to The SCOAN on a mission to seduce and destroy the man of God. However, after her mission failed, she received her deliverance and is now free from the evil spirit that led her to commit such sinful acts. Many like her have received their freedom. When you meet them now, either in their home churches or home countries, they will tell you the difference deliverance has made in their lives. You can see many of their testimonies on Emmanuel TV and YouTube. ย The happy ending in this story is that the very woman above got delivered, yet this poses an even greater question as regards the widespread sexual abuse allegations; what about those who came with same intent and werenโ€™t delivered? Where are they now?ย  what are they doing? ย If a person with such an evil intent of seducing TB Joshua to have sex with her, after imagining and fantasizing about how her sexual affair with TB Joshua would go, on getting to SCOAN, didnโ€™t succeed and left without being delivered, what do you think would stop such a person from gossiping LIES about how she and TB Joshua slept together? Which of the two sins is easier to commit in your opinion? A person bestowed with demonic powers from the pit of hell for the sole purpose of seducing TB Joshua, leaving without deliverance is capable of anything โ€“ and of this truth you can be sure, that when those seducers who escaped without deliverance realized that their mission had failed in The SCOAN, they went to the media, cooking up stories of falsehood against the ministry with this instruction from SATAN their master in mind;

ย If we cannot destroy him as it now seems; then let us bring his name to utter disrepute to ascribe unto him the abomination we intended for him, that many whom we have afflicted might not go to him and be loosened from our yoke, else we lose at both ends. For look! The whole worlds of our afflicted are going after him as they went unto him whom we hung on a tree.

Remember the words of the seductress, โ€œThose who are truly born again, I donโ€™t go close to them because when I see them, the fire in them scares me so I would just have to go—โ€œWhen those women were unable to fulfill their mission in The SCOAN, they left outraged and many went straight to the media to profess what did not occur, writing falsified stories, claiming they were once disciples, professing that they had fulfilled their mission. If they did succeed, why does the ministry of SCOAN still stand and waxes stronger unto this day?

Are TB Joshua Miracles Fake or Genuine? People Must See Thisโ€ฆ

Prophet TB Joshua

Whatever one does in life people are bound to talk. One of such people they so much talk about is Prophet TB Joshua and his Ministries (SCOAN). Some claim his miracles are fake even some of his ex-disciples whom could NOT do the same thing TB Joshua does, even some Pastors too.

Please watch the videos below and tell us what you think.

USA Fraud/Crime Site Exposed Bisola Johnson – TB Joshua Ex-Disciple

A shocking expose on how one Bisola Johnson extorts large amounts of money from people, pretending to be acting on the behalf of Pastor TB Joshua…

USA CRIME/FRAUD SITE

LET’S LIE FOR DOLLARS AND POUNDS

On this site we have shown many of the lies being peddled by TB Joshuaโ€™s ex-disciples whom have form a bloc to rebel against TB Joshua and the SCOAN for failing to become either a Prophet or Prophetess. Some of the words used to address TB Joshua are so strong that we at Watching TB Joshua decided to take up the issue, digging deep into some of the issues raised by these so called ex-disciples, and men of God out of sheer jealousy.

Madeleine: A commenter on one of the blogs used to spread malicious and fabricated lies against TB Joshua and his ministry, she had this to say, โ€œAll information about TB Joshua that I have read from the Internet indicates that he is not accountable. I have also met a Nigerian church leader visiting England who has said exactly the same.โ€

Madeleine We donโ€™t get it. Apart from God who called and commissioned him (TB Joshua), who do they want him to be accountable to? Letโ€™s look at Jesus himself and the great men of God in the bible, there is something always unique about them and their calling, so also TB Joshuaโ€™s calling is unique. Talking about Nigeria Church Leaders, most of them belong to the PFN and have one way or the other gone to the media to make some despicable statements against TB Joshua and his ministry. The tone and style of some of the writings reveals a deep seated hatred for the Prophet. The writer of such despicable stories against the SCOAN does not even acknowledge the many good things Prophet TB Joshua is doing for Nigeria in particular and for humanity in general. Let’s not be blinded by myopic and false considerations! God alone is the supreme judge and the truth shall prevail! Dollars and Pounds do not allow them to say the truth.

Believe us when we say there are many things we would prefer to be doing than running this site โ€“ but if it can help save just a few people from the being deceived like somewhatsober, ย a commenter who left a comment on our post titledย Final Part โ€“ War in the Church, Many against TBย Joshua saying; I confess to being guilty of believing the unqualified rumors against TB Joshua, to my shame I even name-called him in a most disrespectful way in a ANTI SCOAN SITE, having fallen for the lies. I needed those lies in order to satisfy my own failures at SCOAN. Click here to view the comment direct on our blog

The comment above was left by someone who was deceived by one of the blogs formed by ex-disciples of TB Joshua who were not sincere during their stay at the SCOAN, hence they failed.

Another commenter Kelly wrote on their blog:

You did not tell the world you were going to the SCOAN, so it will be ridiculous when you start telling the world that you left. Kelly Was referring to those who claimed they have wasted their time at SCOAN

After months of slander and defamation, Anti SCOAN Sites finally agrees there is no evidence to support their claim of sexual abuse charges against T.B. Joshua. This is funny considering the fact that they have heaped invectives, called him names and I am wondering why they have not rendered a formal apology to the man of God. In their latest article they said:

โ€˜Weโ€™re not saying these allegations are definitely true โ€“ weโ€™d have no evidence to support that claim.โ€™

If they claim there is indeed no evidence to support their claims, why are they now saying the allegations must be โ€˜investigated?โ€™ ย If they have evidence, it is incumbent upon them to provide them to the police to investigate, because you cannot investigate anything without evidence.

They must for once keep their mouths shut and concentrate on building their lives instead of becoming permanent bloggers. If their aim is to destroy the man of God then they have failed in their venture.

War part 2

Continuation of ย War in the Church, Many against TB Joshua Part 1

Ayo Oritsejafor, president of the P.F.N, again on the issue of T.B. Joshua and who tutored him to become a pastor, had this to say:

โ€˜Jesus did not say by their words you will know them; he said by the fruit you shall know themโ€™. Every Nigerian by this time would be able to discern a good fruit from by a bad oneโ€™.

In terms of modesty, humility, love for fellow man, good deeds, and including comments on national issue, you will

AK 47

know who is Christ-like and the one who is made up of falsehood. On the issue of Boko Haram, while TB Joshua was saying we Christians do not defend ourselves because we have a defender โ€“ the Holy spirit, Ayo Oritsejafor was calling on Christians to defend themselves because the government seemed incapable of defending them, he even made no reference to the holy spirit, or support his advice with scripture, in other words, while one of them was concerned with the unity of Nigeria, the other was fanning the flames of war. Come to think of it, with Ayoโ€™s advice to Christians on self-defense, with what should Christians defend themselves? Is it with Holy water, Crucifixes or Bibles? He said it so casually; Christians defend thy self!!!.ย  How? To go to church with a pistol in their pockets? or perhaps AK 47 in their babaringa? (African traditional wear)ย  Did he really mean we should use guns and swords? ย

Our Lord cautioned us against that,ย “No more of this,” Jesus said to Peter (Lk. 22:51) and then, further, this was what Jesus proceeded to say – as Matthew records it –ย “‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘for all who draw the sword will die by the swordโ€™.ย Ayo, let love reign and seek to always pray for your perceived enemies. CAN need to be very careful in their advice so that is not taken as a call for Christians to start killing non-Christians. a concerned Nigerian commented on this issue by saying that from Ayoโ€™s response on the Boko haram issue, He seems to forget that as Christians , we all have a “dark side of the soul” that is waiting to be used by the devil. CAN should not blind to see that a religious war in Nigeria is just what Bork Haram and the forces of the devil want and no matter the situation CAN should not allow themselves to be used by the forces of evil. The love of God in our hearts will not allow us shed the blood of sinners that we pray and seek to convert. In due time, members of Boko haram will become born again Christians, preaching the gospel all over the world. St Paul is an example.

I thought Ayo being the president of the P.F.N was capable of summoning all the opinion leaders in Nigeria, including both Christians and Muslims and other religions to build bridges towards peace than rather adding more fuel to flames. The issues are well launched. Who do you think bears good fruit worthy of emulation?

On corruption in Nigeria, Ayo, had this to say,ย โ€œYou know, in Ghana, Rawlings shot them. But we canโ€™t do that in Nigeria. So we are praying that those who refuse to change, God should kill them, they should die. Because there are some people, if they donโ€™t die, Nigeria may not move forward. So we are praying that such people should die. God should kill them. God can kill. God makes a life, and God kills too. So there are some people who may have to die, some structures God may have to destroy to move Nigeria forward.ย โ€(See clip on YouTubeย –

So, here is Ayo talking about corruption in Nigeria but has forgotten to address the filth in the church, the extortion of the gullible by pastors of his like which is akin to corruption on the national scale. As Emerson will say on such issues, โ€˜a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of simple mindsโ€.ย Here is a man who sees everything wrong about his nation and people but fails to examine himself inwardly and his shortcomings.ย Luke 6:42 sums Ayoโ€™s character, โ€˜How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.ย Again, Ayo, seek love and not vengeance. Why has killing our enemies become a phenomenon in charismaticism? Canโ€™t we ever pray for our enemies to change their way of thinking and to reform? Let love lead instead of hate.

Tunde Bakare

Chris Okotie

On Chris Okotie and Ladi Thompson, the least said, the better for us all. On Okotie, he can only be described as an opportunist hiding behind the veil of Christendom to propagate his political views. In fact he is a politician. A pop star turned televangelist; there is nothing new about him. An expert on controversies, he peddles in rumour and lies to discredit men of God he seems not to like. He is an attention seeker without anything to offer Nigerians. He masquerades as a man of God to draw attention to himself. As a man on an ego trip, he has dabbled as a student of law, pop star, a law degree holder and a flamboyant televangelist. To him what he conjectures becomes a reality and goes to the extent of placing it in the public domain. This is what he has done in the case of T.B. Joshua. Chris and Tunde Bakare in this regard are the same. Tunde, when he is โ€˜belly fullโ€™, comes out with cock and bull stories of visions he has had from God about other pastors, all with the purpose of denigrating them and projecting himself as the โ€˜holier than thouโ€™ pastor, seer and politician in Nigeria. St. Bakare! Tunde and Chris have not met T.B. Joshua, not spoken to him nor dialogued with him, yet they destroy him. What is their mission then? Is it to fight for God? Tunde Bakare for all intent and purpose is a walking contradiction, populist and opportunist. He predicted the demise of Obasanjo and never came to pass, he referred to Buhari as the passing phase or one rejected by God yet he partnered him as Buhariโ€™s running mate in the last election.ย This is simply not a man of God. He is a populist and a dangerous person and must be seen for what he is, looking for the slightest opportunity to jump on. He does not hear or see visions from God. His is trickery of the highest order.

Last, but not the least, is Ladi Thompson, a confusionsโ€™ with a political colorization who displays a coffin on his altar and in his office with inscriptions like kill corruption etc. He is the originator of the confused โ€˜omoluabiโ€™ concept which he explains is a way of fighting and stopping corruption in Nigeria. The fact is, what has he done in fighting corruption in his own small way?

Rev. Thompson

Bisola Johson

His main pre- occupation is chasing mirages, perceived enemies, people who donโ€™t pose a threat to

Agomoh Paul

him, and sponsoring ex-disciples of Prophet T.B. Joshua in the publication โ€˜of the deception of the agesโ€™ by Agomoh and Bisola and selling it for over 40 dollars a copy. To Ladi, the gospel of love does not exist. Heโ€™s the type who gives a โ€˜dog a bad name and hangs itโ€™ to satisfy their parochial needs. This is the mentality of an ungodly person. He believes in the African syndrome of โ€˜I donโ€™t know him but have to destroy himโ€™, period! Where is the love we hear so much inย 1 Corinthians 13:13.ย Has that escaped him?

We need men of impeccable character, consistent and God fearing, people who could be called sons of God, made up of love.

WHO THEY WERE WATCH THEIR PAST!

โ€˜Fabricatedโ€™ stories of the โ€˜TB Joshua Watch gangโ€™

TB Joshua Watchโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ.an outstanding example of paradigm paralysis, tainted by deceit and obnoxious insinuations. It is very sad to see and read the โ€˜fabricatedโ€™ stories and account of the โ€˜gangโ€™ propagating the evil attacks on SCOAN as a ministry and the person of Prophet T B Joshua. Suffice to say that, it is now quite evident that the people behind this โ€™evil projectโ€™ are the disgruntled elements, who for whatever reason they became followers and workers in this ministry for the โ€˜manyโ€™ years had not accomplished their

mission, or their own agenda.

Who first enticed or forced them into this ministry anyway? Because of their selfish and dubiously motivated reasons, and because they could not โ€˜achieveโ€™ what they desired, consequently decided to be the strong attackers of this ministry. It is quite sad to witness this, for whatever it is worth, come onโ€ฆ..seems the whole issue is tantamount to the skin colour. Am sure that if TBJ were to be of the other skin colour, ohโ€ฆโ€ฆit would be a different kettle of fish indeed!

It is quite apparent that the postings and so called โ€˜commentsโ€™ on their โ€˜ventureโ€™ are all concocted, because as they claim they still have โ€˜loved onesโ€™ in the ministry. These so called former disciples and workers in the vineyard had given and narrated their โ€˜own sideโ€™ of why they left. Really we donโ€™t get it, what point are they making? As we said earlier, we do not and will never incite anyone to come forward to tell stories about how and why they left SCOAN, the postings and comments we publish are well scrutinised before hand , because we will never be part of words trading and counter accusations, or preside over others to judge and watch them. All we are doing is to establish and foster good, spirit-filled relationship with Children of God for the salvation of their souls, just like by-line of Emmanuel TVโ€ฆโ€ฆ.Changing Lives, Changing Nations, Changing the World. As we know as children of Most Highโ€ฆ.The evidence of Christ is Life Changed. We know indeed that BETTER IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

TB Joshua asked for money to build SCOAN Tanzania?

I was so shocked when came across an email published in a forum site by someone claiming to be TB Joshua soliciting for funds to build SCOAN Tanzania. Please be warned; TB Joshua, SCOAN or Emmanuel did not send out such email requesting for funds.

Beware of any imposters claiming to be Prophet T.B. Joshua or claiming to represent The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, demanding for money in the name of either of the above. Healing, salvation and all of Godโ€™s blessings are free gifts of God. Jesus Christ paid for our perfect and complete healing when He died on the cross.

TB Joshua watch’s intolerance to undeniable healing proofs

โ€˜Perhaps we have not been clear enough in the points weโ€™ve madeโ€™, says T.B Joshua watch.ย  They go on further to say, โ€˜To be absolutely clear, we believe that:

  1. Personal faith is an essential element of the Christianโ€™s life, and played a key part in many (though not all) of the healing miracles in the bible.
  2. Righteous living is important and some sickness is the direct result of an unhealthy and/or sinful lifestyle.

However, these are not the issues we are getting at. These two scenarios illustrate our concern:

  1. Arthur (not a real person) is HIV+, but after prayer he is healed. He goes to the doctor who confirms his healing and gives him the go ahead to come off his ARV medication. Several years later he is living a promiscuous lifestyle and he again contracts HIV. He has not lost his healing, he has โ€œre-contractedโ€ HIV through not maintaining a responsible and healthy lifestyle.โ€™

I f T.B. Joshua watch has confirmed that personal faith is essential to oneโ€™s healing then why the fuss? The contradictions and insincerity in their writing is glaring for any Christian to see. If they have been honest enough by admitting โ€˜they have not been clear enough in the points weโ€™ve madeโ€™ then it is a tacit admission of not knowing what they are talking about concerning the things of righteous living and the โ€˜maintaining of your healingโ€™. They need to go back to the bible and learn. I admonish them to read Proverbs 6:6 โ€˜go to the ant, you sluggard, consider her ways, and be wise. A wise person does not pour scorn on the things of God, does not slander, do not hold grudges.

I refer you to read below an interesting article I sent some time ago that prompted the TB Joshua Watch response and I am now reproducing it again.

Correct understanding of key scriptures

Letโ€™s look now at Psalm 103. Here we find the “benefits” of serving God. Look at verse 3 closely. Some say that in this verse God promises to heal every illness as surely as he promises to forgive every sin. But God does not promise to forgive our sinsย unconditionally. We do not experience the results of his forgiveness if we do not repent.

Neither does God promise unconditionally to heal us every time. Just as in the case of forgiveness of sin, there are conditions. In the case of healing, the conditions are often faith and obedience, butย alwaysย the condition of what is best for the personโ€™s eternal life โ€” Godโ€™s will for the person!

Healing has a condition that forgiveness of sin does not โ€” namely, the condition of what God deems best in our life. But this is only because it isย alwaysย in our best interest to be forgiven immediately, butย not alwaysย in our best long-term interest to have the suffering of illness instantly removed (1 Pet. 5:10).

Now letโ€™s examine James 5:14-16. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Does this passage promise that God will heal everyone every time? Although the statement, “and the Lord will raise him up” appears on the surface to be written without qualification, it sits amidst the rest of the Bible and is qualified by it. Every verse of the Bible must be read in the context of the whole Bible โ€” not in isolation.

Here, as in every other case of a request for answered prayer, is the implied condition of healing beingย in the best interestย of the party. It is an implied condition, but it is stated by the Bible to apply to all prayer! “If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 5:14).

Some commentators have noted that the word translatedย saveย in James 5:15 is a Greek word that is used only a few times in the Bible in reference to a person being made well from sickness (e.g., Mark 6:56). The vast majority of times this word is used in the New Testament, it is used in the sense of spiritual salvation. Likewise, the word translatedย raiseย in this same verse can mean “to rouse from sleep or lift up as from a bed or floor,” but most often is used in the New Testament to represent the resurrection from the dead (see Matthew 10:8; 11:5; 14:2; 16:21, etc.).

Thus James in this verse uses terminology that can refer not only to physical healing, but also to the spiritual resurrection from the dead (also based on conditions not stated here but found elsewhere in the Bible).

We must address here a related point. One view of James 5:14-15 is that James meant that God heals every time โ€” but he heals some now and some at the resurrection of the dead.

It is true that God heals some now and that in the resurrection the saints will have perfect, immortal bodies. But this isย notย the right way to explain why God does not heal every time in this life. Eventual healing of the body by the resurrection isย notย what sick people are asking for in their prayers to be healed. They already know they will not be sick in their resurrected state.

God has promised to heal us, but has set conditions on such healing โ€” the conditions of faith and allegiance to God, andย alwaysย the condition of Godโ€™s will.

These conditions may seem easy to understand. But when a person becomes ill, these simple concepts can become confused. Usually the confusion is over the matter of faith, although it may be stated in the form of questions such as, “If God loves me, how can he see me suffer and not intervene?” Or, “How can I have faith that God will heal me if I donโ€™t know whether it is his will to do so now?”

To answer these important questions, we must look at the oft-misunderstood but vital connection between faith and healing.

I want T.B. Joshua watch to understand this, we are not in competition with any other ministry or corporate body and so we do not care if millions exchanged emails on the sky and BBC report. Numbers are not the issue if you have God in your corner.

We maintain the healings are tangible and they cannot deny them merely because the have fallen out with SCOAN. Their families and siblings recognise this and have decided to work and stand solidly by SCOAN. If their families are now conducting healing services and people are being healed it shows that God is involved. In one of their write ups they complained bitterly about their โ€˜loved ones still holed up in Lagosโ€™ and not wanting to leave. Who wants to leave the presence of God? TB Joshua watch has lost the argument. Shifting on every ground, from claiming they have no evidence on the sexual abuse claim to not have been clear enough on their points. This should tell you a lot about the people we are dealing with.
